We all get the winter blahs. For us Living in this colder climate it can be hard with the lack of sun etc. In this episode we discuss what do we do to beat the winter blahs? We will also discuss what winter activities are there to do to keep your mind active in colder climates.

This episode is a Movie Episode We discuss the 1989 Skateboard infused movie starring Christian Slater titled Gleaming the Cube. We have a very long discussion about our love for this movie and 80's skate and pop culture, Arbys and Pepsi products!

Jarred had the opportunity to head to Hawaii this summer for some family time and to meet up with old family friends that live in Honolulu. Join us as he takes us through his experiences surfing on four of Hawaiis beaches. 

It's been nearly four months since we've recorded an episode and this is the first time we've been in a room together since then as well. In this episode we discuss some of our summer adventures, not just surfing but other fun that we've gotten up to as well. We will also reflect on our goals from last season and how they went whether we bailed on them, had success, or pivoted the goal due to unforeseen circumstances. We have included a new segment where we give and discuss a surf tip. We also will talk about the future goals of the Nova Kooks!

In this Halloween episode the Nova Kooks discuss their scary Halloween memories, favourite costumes and scary movies. Get ready for some great laughs and an especially eccentric question from Charles! Happy Halloween!
