Realized (or what I should say is Spirit made me realize) that I have been making paradigms shift by simply choosing to move out of thinking and doing things in ways that wasn’t the best for me, & choosing to move and do things that is best for me but might not be the “flyest” (yes, I said flyest, don’t come for me) ways according to others. YOU make paradigms shift by simply shifting your thoughts and then switching up your actions to better suit those thoughts. For better or for worse.

We’ve gotten so deep into the gender wars and what we want our significant others to do for us, that I’m noticing how we’re moving further & further away from each other. So I’m wondering, have we forgotten about companionship? Do we even want real partnerships anymore??

Out of all the things and people that I've invested my time and money into, the one thing that I haven't really heard anyone talk about is financial literacy. Here is where I talk about what I'm realizing these days and how much I want to Get Smarter with learning how money can work for me and not me working harder than a stripper for my money. And we know strippers work damn hard, honey!

Living in this technological world, it seems that I have forgotten my rooting. Growing up in the late 80's into and through the 90's, I had an upbringing that these younger generations didn't. I'm starting to remember just how we used to be so tight as in the community and the people on the block, down to the people in the buildings. People talked about each other and yeah we may have fought but there was something about being in this community that left roots of a beautiful good time growing up. This is just a little snippet of the differences I've been noticing.

Throughout the years I have learned how to keep my guard up for protection over my heart & mind. Allowing my masculine (action oriented) self to be at the forefront. But I don't want to do that any more. I am now ready to allow my softer, feminine self to come out and live. Plus, trusting ppl is hard to do.

Learning to stay in your own lane is kind of hard when your being pulled in different directions and ppl want you to look over here and be over there. There comes a time when you must say, "no more distractions" and slide back into what you were doing & what you know is best for self.
