Today's guest on Not Just CAD! is Shir Rustici. Shir is a Product Manager for Naviate products at Symetri. Naviate is a series of products built to streamline processes for AEC professionals for Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D. Before becoming a product manager, she was a BIM implementation and dynamo automation specialist. Her prior positions include BIM Manager roles at firms in Munich, Germany, and New York City. Shir earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree at Pratt Institute and has focused on various technologies related to the AEC industry since. She has used these different experiences to translate the challenges Revit users face into technical solutions within the Naviate product line. Beyond her professional commitments, she passionately advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the AEC industry. She places a high priority on addressing the industry's challenges and actively engages in discussions on how to enhance the experience for minorities. Her goal is to contribute to the advancement of diversity in the fields of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction.
