I love the hosts, they are clearly great friends and very sweet. The stories are interesting and their banter enjoyable. I recently lost 2 sisters to cancer and listening to podcasts helps distract me a bit when feeling especially sad. This one is very comforting and fun, so thanks for that and for my new exclamation. 😀 Keep up the good work!

It’s always great to listen to stories about the dark and spooky stuff that may exist around the world and throughout history. Some great hosts, with some really interesting topics and discussions. Definitely well informed and researched for each episode’s subject, which is a really nice touch. I’m only about half way through the current backlog of episodes, and I’m excited to finish up the remaining!

Utterly delightful. The hosts Sophie and David are engaging, hilarious, well-informed, and their banter (often a source of annoyance for me in podcasts) is a great example of what conversational podcasts should be--clever, funny, always fascinating and extremely charming. I'm thrilled every time a new episode drops, and I'm basically a missionary of NFTDT now. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommended.

Not For the Dinner Table is not just a celebration of dark and the macabre (although there is plenty to be had) but also weird topics in general. Next to true crime and cryptids are topics like Eurovision. The show excels on the hosts that are engaging yet funny and easy to listen to. This is a any day and anytime type of podcast.
