Strikes work!!! Both SAG-AFTRA and the WGA have reached deals for their workers, meaning we are back to posting Once Upon a Time recap episodes! The strike is over! Well, the strike is over for the WGA (the deal they got is truly fantastic! Strikes work!). The actors are still on strike, so we're still not talking about Once Upon a Time, since the request to not have recap podcasts about struck works was from SAG. What we're talking about instead this time is the comic that in a different universe could have had a show on ABC instead of Once Upon a Time - Fables! This episode was recorded before both the Writer's Guild of America and the Screen Actor's Guild went on strike against the studios due to the studios' unwillingness to make a fair deal with these unions for their labor. It's important to note that these studios could end the strike at any point by meeting the unions at the negotiation table, but as of the release of this episode, the studios have chosen to let these workers strike rather than cut their own income by fractions of a percent.
