With his finding of the Mindset Training Institute, hosting the podcast "The Mindset Experience", and currently serving on the board of the "Hidden Opponent" Dr. T is the REAL DEAL. He has partnered with US lacrosse as he integrated mental health education which includes a Athlete-Mindset seminar series.  Dr. T is filled with energy, passion, and wisdom as he navigates this episode and shares is background and knowledge on the importance of "training the brain". Dr. T and Mary dive deep into what training our brains entail and the importance of it. We discuss performance anxiety, as well as tools to help those out there who may be struggling with it. With his background in working with elite athletes, coaches, military members, first responders, and competitive businesses, Dr. T knows what it takes to elevate your game. Episode 16- Andrew Weber
Andrew Weber is currently a senior on the Men's Soccer Team at Virginia Tech. Ever since he was little, it was always his dream to play Division I soccer. Through his recruiting process, Weber found himself wanting to go to Virginia Tech for their Engineering program as well as their elite soccer program. While not offered an official spot, Weber had the chance to walk on to the soccer team. After weeks of training and hard work, he was faced with the difficult outcome of being cut from the team. After quickly deciding he was not ready to give up on his dream, Weber tried out again and AGAIN, finally earning his spot and becoming an official member of the Virginia Tech Men's Soccer Team. Weber's story is one of perseverance and self confidence. He reminds us that a level of gratitude will get you far in life and teaches us how to block out any negative energy or opinions when it comes to chasing your dreams.  Weber shares his story in hopes to inspire people to believe in themselves and that we can do anything that we put our minds to and that is exactly what he does in this episode!

Episode 15- Morgan Alexander
Join us as Morgan Alexander dives into her own journey of going through 5 knee surgeries and other injuries during her collegiate lacrosse career at Syracuse University. Morgan explains the impact injury has had on her overall mental health and the struggles she faced. Morgan also discusses how she has developed as a player during her career, but more importantly how she developed her identity outside of sport. Morgan has found a deep passion for mental health and shows her advocacy through creating her brand @shop_pursuitofpositivity which is a clothing line that revolves around ending the stigma surrounding mental health. Episode 14- Alex Parra
Alex Parra is not a one-time but a TWO-time cancer survivor. Alex was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, also known as bone cancer, at the age of 15, resulting in the loss of his leg (which he chose to do by flipping a coin)! After learning how to walk again and beating cancer, Alex continued to get scanned routinely. In 2018, Alex was re-diagnosed with Lung Cancer with a 10% chance of survival. Against all odds, Alex ended up being in that 10% which can be connected to his grounded and positive mindset. In this episode, Alex provides great wisdom about focusing on what you can control, being your own biggest fan, and mindfulness. Alex also discusses how he is currently training as a Paraswimmer for the 2024 Paralympics. You’ll leave this episode with a sense of motivation and gratitude! Episode 13- Carly Reed
Carly Reed is a Former UNC Women's Lacrosse player, current nutritionist, and is the founder of the clothing brand "On the Line Club". In this episode, Carly talks about how her journey with health and fitness began and where her passion for wellness sparked. Her approach to health is very unique and she provides insight on her belief that we as humans should incorporate habits that are going to make us feel our very best, not necessarily what will make us have the lowest number on the scale. Carly also dives in to the ups and downs of being a female entrepreneur and starting her own business on her own. Carly also brings awareness to Hashimoto's disease as she has been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease herself and discusses her struggles and the lifestyle changes she has made as a result. Episode 12- Kylie Ohlmiller
Episode 12 is with Kylie Ohlmiller, Stony Brook Women’s Lacrosse alum and current Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse League player. While at Stony Brook, Kylie was a part of the change that turned Stony Brook into a top tier program. Kylie was a two-time American East Conference Offensive Player of the year and two-time Tewaaraton Award finalist. Kylie also founded KO17 lacrosse, where she leads training sessions, events, and offers guidance in player and person development. In this episode, Kylie discusses her recruiting process, taking Stony Brook from being ranked 70th to 1st during her time there, lacrosse as a career path, and her experience playing for Athletes Unlimited. Oh and of course we have to talk about her dog Oakley!! Charlotte absolutely dominates on the lacrosse field, as she helped guide Boston College Women's Lacrosse Team to a national championship in the 2021 season and is the recipient of the Tewaaraton Award.
