We can sum up what Jesus teaches about salvation with the phrase of "You must be born again". This is not only the title of the sermon, but also the key truth for us to know. Look carefully at this statement. You must be born again. You-You, me, everyone. We are all included in this teaching. Must be-Must be, not should be, would be best if. Not an option or an extra. Must be. Born again-This is what you must be. This is what I must be. This is what everyone must be. If this is what we all must be, then we need answers to three fundamental questions about being born again. Why must we be born again? What does it mean to be born again? How can we be born again? Today I’m going to answer these questions from this teaching of Jesus.

So the main idea we need to understand is Satan's attacks on man flow from his rebellion against God.

The key phrase in this passage is. "He considered that God is able…” Everything everyone did in this passage was done because they believed God was able. Abraham believed God was able and so he offered Isaac. Isaac believed God was able and so he blessed Jacob and Esau about things to come. Joseph believed God was able so he was faithful to the very end of his life. Our key truth is from this and is simple: God is able

Regardless of the uncertainties we see in this world, we can be certain Jesus will reign.

Jesus is greater. Jesus is greater than Moses. Jesus is greater than the angels. Jesus is greater than the Law. Jesus’ sacrifice is greater than all the sacrifices of the Law. Jesus is the greatest there is and anything we suffer as we serve Jesus is worth it because in the end, we get Jesus.

1 John 5:19 says the entire world is under the power of the evil one. How do we fight back against this? Not with physical or worldly weapons, but with the spiritual weapon of the Gospel. God’s Witnesses push back against evil by boldly proclaiming the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Every disciple of Jesus is called to be witnesses of what God has done in Jesus, the Gospel, what God is going to do through Jesus, the events we see in Revelation, and then urge people to repent and believe in Jesus.

A visionary faith sees and acts on the unseen promises of God.

Revelation 9:4 is the key verse in this section. It teaches us God's judgment will certainly fall on humanity, but disciples Jesus will be safe from this judgment. Only disciples of Jesus are spared from the judgment of God. There are three truths we need to know considering the certainty of God's judgment.
