This podcast is really good. Berto’s a really smart dude, crazy interesting stories. Glad I found this

I enjoy waiting every Thursday morning for a new episode to come out. Great perspective from fmr gang member Berto about gang life and from experience why someone would want to think twice before joining in. My favorite episodes were the ones where Berto discusses getting beat up by some girls and talking about how a gang can easily spread (ex: the indian reservation episode). Hoping he would do an episode with another ex Latin King from Milwaukee (maybe someone Berto talked about in his past podcasts) where they changed their life around as well and share the same perspective as Berto about the gang life.

This podcast is very informative and interesting! Love how Berto shares his story and where his journey brought his here. I love his story and how he came from a place of gangs to a place of really making a difference. I love you Berto. I’m so proud of you!

I work 10 hour days so I have a lot of time to listen to different books, music and podcasts. I am extremely picky with my podcasts and I very easily find myself getting bored with most podcasts. I usually look for a specific story like serial killers or ghosts and I’ll listen to a series of episodes from a creator and be done with them never going back. With “Normalized Crime” I find that every episode is another interesting story. There’s very few podcasts that I’ve been willing to subscribe to and pay for (4 total so far) this is one of them, top tier on Patreon. Coming from the south side of Chicago I know these types of stories all to well. These stories are unfortunately all to common, but this one comes with a positive spin. Keep up the great work guys!!!

I listen to your stories every week and it brings back memories. It’s awesome that you can talk about it and hopefully help someone. I listened to your podcast while vacationing in Japan. Berto your podcast was heard in Japan. I think that’s dope!

I started the 25 episode series on Friday and finished it this morning. I could not stop listening. Berto was so animated, I felt like I was a character in his story! I went to school with Berto and a lot of his friends. Looking back, they were just trying to survive. It’s heartbreaking to see where some of them are at now. However, Berto’s story gives me hope for all of them. Thanks for being transparent, and sharing the good, bad and ugly. Wishing you much success and happiness! Can’t wait for the next episode!

Berto is interesting to listen to. If he got rid of those two clowns this podcast would be a 5 star.

I have to admit, Berto does a good job narrating the stories from his past. It’s smart and I like his in-depth way that he tells his stories along with the message that he gives to his listeners. Gang life is no life.
