For NSP 52, we spoke with Lena Gunn of the Electronic Frontier Foundation.Lena was born in Costa Rica and immigrated to the U.S. as a 27 year old adult. Before EFF Lena worked in journalism, international development and in the tech industry. She studied the emergence of Open Source communities in Latin America, and later worked as a trainer, qualitative researcher, and media producer with Human Rights groups in the field. She has worked as a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager for different tech companies and non-profits. More than a technologist she's always been a writer. She lives part time in San Francisco and part time in Costa Rica. She has a dog and loves to dance. She's really into visual art but, "I can't draw to save my life."
