Episode 3. Interesting topic. I’ve sold Amway (recruited by my parents) and never realized how hard it was going to be to recruit people. This was before the internet so you had to be face-to-face and do parties to not only sell your products; but, recruit people. For someone who’s an introvert, that was really hard. Many years later I met up with someone who was pushing me to join a business and I would have my own website and sell the products online. I signed up for it only to learn that it was Amway again; but, this time it was under a different name. I got out of that one really fast. Anyone that tells you you have to recruit other people is a pyramid scheme. It’s not worth your money or your time. If I was just selling a product that I loved and that was all there was to it, then that would be fine. And some of them do have good products. But, having to recruit other people is hard and not for me. Recently I was listening to someone on FB who sold LimeLife say that a regular company is also in the shape of a pyramid with the CEO at the top and the employees at the bottom. I couldn’t believe that she could even make that comparison. She sees no difference in an MLM and a regular business. She seems to be successful; but, it’s like you both said, a lot of people aren’t. Can’t wait to hear your next podcast!

I absolutely love Tasha & Kay!! They are hilarious and tell it like it is!! I laughed out loud so much that my husband came in the room to see why, and he wound up staying and enjoying it as much as me. My only wish is that it could last even longer!
