Eclectic and entertaining
You never know what to expect! Episode topics range widely; no one could guess what our host is going to explore next. Always interesting, in depth, and still kept to a pleasant run-time. NR2E is my favorite podcast.

Consistently charming
A great way to pass the time, this podcast is obviously a labor of love. The episodes aren’t too long! The story topics are varied, with an odd sense of humor I can appreciate.

Great storytelling!
I’ve been listening from the beginning, but haven’t left a comment until now. Just thoroughly enjoyed “The Cortado in Question.” Great storytelling. Great interviews. Great music. You might consider an spin-off pod with Kelly as a co-host... really nice chemistry.

Fantastically Quirky
I love the story telling in this podcast. The way that Danny tells stories associated with such innane things as a rotary phone and pencil sharpeners, then discusses blues music is oddly hypnotic. It reminds me of a young Malcolm Gladwell. The production quality is strong as well, which makes listening that much easier. If you are looking for a fun, quirky, new podcast about... well just about everything... then this is the one to listen to.

One of my new favorites
Wasn’t sure what to expect when I first listened to this podcast, but it quickly became one of my favorites. Love the variety and uniqueness of the topics and the way that the interviews, skits, and stories are woven together. Whenever I finish an episode I feel more inspired to research a new topic or look further into little aspects of my day-to-day life that I typically overlook. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic podcast!
This podcast is one of the best I've listened to. At the end of every episode, I am more curious about the world than I was before. In my mind, that's totally a reason to exist! I also love the approach here: earnest, curious, and fun. Definitely a must-listen.

Always makes me think (and laugh)...
I enjoy this podcast because it always gives me something to think about, try, or have conversations about after I listen. I go and read a book series because I liked what the author said in the interview, I hear about subjects that remind me of my childhood, or ones that just make me think and/or laugh. I even bought a vintage dial phone after listening to "There's not an app for that" because I missed the sound and feel of those phones (and the ability to slam the phone down when someone really needs to be hung up on). Listen!

Oddly Compelling, indeed.
In short, This podcast is unique and addictive. I highly recommend it. I listen to a lot of podcasts. I’m lucky to have a job where I can plug in and listen while I work, so I go through quite a bit of content a week. Most of it ends up blending together. This podcast, however, stuck out. I ended up binging the episodes quickly and afterwards perusing the website to find out what topics are coming up. Overall it’s quirky, funny and something I look forward to hearing more of. Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
