Welcome back for Season 2 of No, I Will Not.... we kick off our second round of episodes with a deep dive into a recent dating experience Kassie had and how Mr. Delightful is not always... so delightful.  From the early stages of dating to realizing where love bombing, bread-crumbing and all the other wonderful, modern dating terminologies are actually things that happen - this one takes the cake with the "WTF?" moments and serves as a word of caution for those in the dating world, especially those in Chicago.

SHE’S BACK! Kalen F**king Curtis has returned and she is ready to share all the things - namely about the events that have unfolded over her life that led her to need the life-changing surgery she is returning from. Trigger Warning (TW): We dive into some gruesome and painful details, so please use your emotional seat belt and make sure you are strapped in before assisting others. In episode 7, Kalen shares her journey to help shed light on what has been for her and can be for others an immense physical and mental toll of navigating life-threatening injury and ongoing chronic pain in today’s healthcare system as well addresses her own struggles to advocate for herself despite doctors sending her on wild goose chases for cures. Join us for our FIRST guest appearance on the "No, I Will Not..." Podcast! We welcome Leeshia Crayton who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as we delve into the intersectionality of identities - her own being a black, queer woman. We chat about living abroad and returning to the U.S. as well as her journey into queer life - ultimately ending up with our very own Kalen! It was a blast having Leeshia join to share and we hope you enjoy the first of what we hope will be many guest appearances. 

Is it true that you have to be emotion-less to keep business, just "business"? Or is there an added perspective that women bring to the workplace? In episode 4 of No, I Will Not... we deep dive into our particular experiences as women in the workplace. Talking about the "Glass Ceiling" and all of the "should's" that we feel as women, we explore internal dialogues around well-being and value as it relates to career as well as our experience with women championing (or not) other women. 

Apologies for last episode's lack of intro, we promise we'll be better moving forward! After our more expert lead-in this time around, this episode focuses on Kalen and her experience with being a "whole-hearted lesbian," being married, then divorced, and how Kalen overcame and thrived albeit going through the stages of grief. Kalen leaves us noting three main takeaways Kalen has to share for anyone who can relate to the end of serious partnership.

We are wrapping up LGBTQI+ Pride month with this dynamic episode asking lots of questions about sex, love and life as we know it. When we say "Love is Love" how are we exploring our relationship status and sexual identity as much as our sexual orientation? What is a "body count" and is this important? What is the difference between monogamy versus polyamory? Join us as we explore these questions and more related to the alignment of our sexual identities within relationships and Kassie says, "No, I Will Not... Be Monogamous."
