As the year comes to a close, Iām taking this moment to reflect on what 2024 has taught me and to set intentions for the year ahead. Itās been a year of challenges, growth, and big changesāmoving to New York, navigating new routines, and embracing both the joys and struggles that come with it.
In this episode, I open up about the biggest lessons Iāve learned this year, the memories that brought me the most joy, and the steps Iāve taken toward creating a life that aligns with my values. I also share an exciting (and bittersweet) update: this will be the final episode of No Dumb Questionsāat least for now.
Join me as I close this chapter with gratitude, look ahead to 2025 with hope, and reflect on the importance of recalibrating and finding joy in the everyday. Plus, I reveal what ChatGPT had to say about my dream life and how that exercise sparked inspiration for the year ahead.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Hereās to stepping forward with courage, embracing change, and rememberingāthere are truly no dumb questions.

How am I really doing in NYC?
Eight months in, and itās time to get real about life in New York. Iāve shared glimpses of my excitement about the city, but behind the scenes, itās been⦠different. I didnāt think moving here would feel this lonely, but leaving behind a tight-knit group of friends and adjusting to new rhythms has been harder than I ever expected. Itās tough to admit, but this might be the loneliest Iāve ever felt.
In this episode, Iām opening up about what itās really been likeānavigating big-city life, missing familiar faces, and learning that making new friends as an adult isnāt as easy as it sounds. Sometimes, I find myself wishing for just one effortless conversation with people who know me. Between spending days mostly alone and feeling the weight of vulnerability fatigue, itās been a rollercoaster. Iām still figuring it out, and I hope sharing this helps anyone else feeling a little out of place to know youāre not alone.
So, letās get into it: the highs, the lows, and the in-between moments of finding myself in NYC.

In this heartwarming episode of No Dumb Questions, Iām thrilled to welcome Jocelyn Chung, a graphic designer, creator, and newly-published children's book author, to the podcast! We instantly connected during my last visit to Taiwan, and today weāre diving into her debut book, āWhen Love is More Than Wordsā, a story that beautifully captures how love transcends language, especially within Asian familiesāa theme that deeply resonates with me, having grown up with my grandparents and extended family.
Jocelyn shares the inspiration behind her book, how her upbringing in a Taiwanese-American household influenced her storytelling, and the creative journey from designer to author. We also explore the challenges she faced as a first-time author and the cultural values she hopes to pass on through her work. Whether you love children's books or simply believe in the power of love beyond words, this episode is a must-listen!

Planning a big trip with friends can be both exciting and a little stressful. Todayās episode was inspired by one of my team members after I shared that Iām heading to Vietnam soon with my college friends! She asked me how I usually plan these types of trips, and it got me thinkingācoordinating travel preferences, schedules, and personalities can be a lot to manage!
With my Vietnam trip just around the corner, I thought it would be perfect to bring on one of my best friends, Tiff, whoās also helping me plan this adventure. Tiff and I go way backāwe were roommates at UC San Diego for 3 years and have been close ever since. She knows me better than almost anyone, and weāve traveled together a few times, but this is our first big international trip!
In this episode, weāll dive into how weāre approaching this trip, from managing everyoneās preferences to keeping things fun and organized. Whether youāre gearing up for your own trip with friends or just love hearing about travel planning, I hope this conversation gives you some helpful tips along the way!

In this episode of No Dumb Questions, we dive deep into the world of TV writing and what it truly takes to make it in Hollywood. As someone who's always been captivated by the entertainment industry, todayās topic is particularly exciting for me. And to make it even better, we have an extraordinary guest whoās worked on incredible shows like Loot and Superstoreāplus, sheās collaborated with comedy royalty like Maya Rudolph!
Today, Iām thrilled to introduce you to Vicky Luu āan incredibly talented writer and producer in her own right. This episode feels especially personal because Vicky is not only a powerhouse in Hollywood, but sheās also my partner Rayās older sister ;)
Weāre going to explore Vickyās journey from her early days as a Production Assistant on shows like Family Guy and the 90210 reboot, to her rise as Co-Executive Producer of hit series like Superstore and Loot. Over the past two years, Iāve come to see just how humble and down-to-earth Vicky is, despite her quiet success. Sheās truly one of the most genuine people Iāve met in this industry.
So, letās give a warm welcome to Vicky Luu! š„³

In todayās episode, Iām bringing back a special guest: my boyfriend Ray! Last time he was on the show, we did a fun Q&A where he answered all your curious questions. This time, weāre diving into some hot takes and having a lively discussion, since weāre both pretty opinionated. We answer hot takes like "Separate vacations can strengthen a relationship", "It's okay to sleep in separate bedrooms", to "You Don't Have to Be Best Friends".
Tune in to hear our perspectives and join the conversation!
