After being judged for dining alone during my trip to Italy, I felt inspired to record this episode while drinking some prosecco.
We'll be reflecting on:
why this situation bothered me;
why people rush to judge others;
how we should create a life based on our own desires instead of trying to meet other people's expectations.
This was recorded very spontaneously, and was completely unscripted. I hope you enjoy the conversation and to see you in the comments! Go to Youtube for a full video experience.

In a society where people constantly value being in a relationship, it's time for us to talk about why you shouldn't be in one, while discussing the benefits of spending time alone.
Having not been in a serious relationship since 2019, I've spent a massive amount of time alone and discovering who I am. This experience has allowed me to:
Become incredibly independent
Learn how to read my intuition
Understand who I am and what I want
Identify and work on my flaws
Detect toxic relationships around me
Love myself truly (a daily practice)
I hope this is an empowering episode which gives you the courage to choose what's best for you, even if it feels scary right now.

Self-discovery takes different proportions once we start exploring different cultures. That's because traveling, living abroad, and meeting immigrants allows you to experience a different perspective on how the world works. And that perspective can challenge your own beliefs, and your own reality, in ways you could've never imagined before.
In today's episode, we'll explore how cultural differences can impact our self-discovery process with the Germany based Brazilian dancer, Lívia Gil. Even though she was born and raised in Brazil, she has spent the past 10+ years living in Europe, having lived in London, UK, and in several cities in Germany. Currently based in the city of Cologne, this experience has completely reshaped Lívia's way of thinking about how a society should function, and has brought her more opportunity to learn about herself and her vision of right and wrong.
Together with our Brazilian host Carolina Rizzotto's experience living and working in the USA for the past 9 years, this episode comes together into an interesting conversation about cultures, and our places within them.

Today we'll be questioning our reality inspired in Socrates' quote "All I Know is I Know Nothing". In this episode, we'll be reflecting on all the different ways people think and experience life, and on how there's not exclusively one single right answer to anything. Everything in life is subjective, and all of our reasoning is exclusively based on our own human experience. Therefore, we have to seek a path of empathy and understanding of other people's reality in order to expand our own.
This is probably the most inconclusive episode I've ever recorded, where I deeply analyze things by myself and share the process with you guys. I hope you'll join the confusion, and become a part of the conversation in the comments below.

This is PART 2 of "You Might Be in a Cult". Listen to Part 1 before tuning in!
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be born and raised in a cult? How do you identify a cult, and how do you get out of it? Did you know that if you're a part of a cult, you most likely wouldn't even know? What are the dangers of being a part of cult?
In today's episode we'll be answering all of these questions as we interview ex-cult member, Calvin Wayman. Having grown up Fundamentalist Mormon in a family with 1 dad, 4 moms, and 44 siblings, he left everything at the age of 30 years old to pursue a life that felt true to him.
Today, the entrepreneur is living in New York City. He’s the host of a podcast called “Cultured” — which just launched this August. His core mission is to empower others to think for themselves and make a life that is their own.

Changing career paths can feel like an impossible mission. There's so much anxiety that can come from it. The fear of being criticized by your family members, the fear of failure, and worrying about being financially stable throughout the process.
Yet you know what's even scarier? Being in the wrong path.
In this episode of No Ducks Given podcast, we learn the story of Alan Shindelman, who within just a year went from being a banker to a full-time photographer.
The possibilities of what we can achieve are endless, if we're just willing to take a bet on ourselves and the unknown.

Ambition is a great quality to have, especially when it comes to business. But can simply wanting something be enough to achieve success?
Today’s episode is about The Secret Behind Ambition: Hard Work and Restrategizing, as we get to know the story of professional baker, entrepreneur, and winner of Netflix's "Baking Impossible", Rodolfo Gonçalves.
A Brazilian immigrant who worked as a programmer until the age of 24, Rodolfo won the green card lottery in 2004 and moved to New York City, with the hopes of living the American Dream. Since he barely spoke English at the time, it was very hard getting a job as a programmer, so he had to work cleaning dishes instead. This was a really difficult downfall for Rodolfo, but he never stopped pushing himself and striving for more.
Since he's moved to the US, Rodolfo has fallen in love with baking and the creative freedom it brings you. Within the last 20 years he’s not only built his own cake business, but has won multiple awards, been in 5 reality TV baking shows, and won Netflix’s "Baking Impossible" where 1 baker and 1 engineer make cakes which defy the laws of physics.
Even though Rodolfo has had several professional accomplishments since moving to the US, he's had to constantly pivot and restrategize as his career went into unforeseen directions. That's where the secret to success really is.

Traveling can expand our perspective in so many ways. It's a chance to learn about different cultures, to experience new things, and an opportunity for self-discovery. However, while traveling, it can be easy to stick to old habits; only interact with people who speak your own language; and to not pursue a trip that takes you beyond trending spots on your social media's "For You Page". This can easily become a missed opportunity to really learn about a different culture.
Today we're gonna talk about Traveling Out of Your Comfort Zone with New York Times travel columnist and creator of the online portal, "Amigo Gringo", Seth Kugel. Having lived in and traveled to multiple countries, Seth gives insight on the different experiences you can have when traveling somewhere as far as Brazil, to as close as your own local neighborhood. There are many places to travel to, and your bank account doesn't have to stop you from exploring somewhere new.

If there's one thing that's part of human nature is the need for community. We all want to have friends and to feel like we're a part of something, no matter how self-reliable we may be.
This week's guest, Chich Bolt, didn't have much stability or community growing up. Originally from the midwest in the USA, he's moved 36 times from his early childhood up until his early 20s, making it very challenging to be part of a community having to constantly adapt to new neighborhoods, schools, and to make new friends.
Despite Chich's unusual childhood, he's been able to find purpose in his story. After a 3 day trip to NYC in 2021, he decided to not return home. He left everything behind to start a new life of his own in the Big Apple. Since then, he has not only grown his career as a content creator, but has founded the group Creators NYC, which has become one of New York's most diverse and influential community of creators (designers, artists, photo/videographers, etc).
In today's episode, we'll learn through Chich's story how to meet new people and to create a community of your own, no matter where you are or how unstable your life may be.
