I first listened to this on the Truth podcast years ago and hoped to find it again. Voila! Here it is- just too good to get lost in time. I now can share it with my grandson. So happy to listen again. The whole concept is fitting in the present and, unfortunately probably will outlast the test of time due to human nature.

I heard episode one while listening through The Truth podcast backlog. At first I thought, “Eh, I may not listen all the way through,” because it was part of a different podcast and I didn’t want to switch over (I’m lazy in silly ways). But I listened all the way through episode one and I was hooked! I needed to know what came next! The background of the original author Karel Čapek, the catchy and high quality music, the zaniness and yet grounded reality of the story, and the fantastic voice work by the cast all made it irresistible. And yeah, I listened to every episode within a couple days, trying and failing to pace myself. It’s years old by now, but it’s all here to listen to, so get to it!

I felt like I was listening to a musical. I ended up looking up some of the singers because their voices were so good. Very enjoyable listen!

This was wonderfully written and the songs are so good. Do you know that feeling when you finish a piece of media and just want more but there’s no where to go, that’s me right now, relistening to the final moments over and over. A fully fledged cast album would be amazing as well. Short of that at the very least more people should listen to this.

Listened to this a couple of weeks ago and can't stop thinking about it. So clever and funny, and the songs are great! I came back to this page to see if the creators have made any similar podcasts, but I might just have to binge this one again.

Shades of “Little Shop of Horrors”, but literary and smart. Could not have enjoyed it more! Just sad it’s over. Well done, y’all!

Fun vocal performances, crisp production, and terrific music. I don’t usually go for fiction podcasts, but this had me the whole way. A+ all around.

What else can I say? It’s perfectly executed and leaves you hooked until the very end. 10/10, would recommend.

Puts a conceptually great book that’s hard to get all the way through in a more fun and digestible form, while capturing the essence and comedic brilliance. I’d say it even does the rare job of improving on the original. Well done!

This is a really well done podcast with a fresh approach to old material. The music production deserves an award. Just a fun way to spend a few minutes.

I’m trying more and more fiction podcasts, but so many are hit and miss. I had low hopes for this one but I was pleasantly surprised. The story is original and unique, and told so much through song which I did not expect but I found great. I’ve not heard another one like this and I’m excited to see the world and newt situation pan out.

My favorite thing happening rn, I look forward to it every week and it makes my day. Please, put the songs into an album for us to listen to!!!!
