With formal experiences in racial education and informal knowledge ranging through every facet of racial and cultural friction, Ayisha makes clear that issues in Oregon can be just as deep-rooted as they are in much older places.

Jake and Jonah phoned in with Patty Rose of the Spent the Rent podcast to finally take New Roads out west. Touching on everything from unique local approaches to government, making music and the enigma of the I-5 corridor, Patty and Jake bounce back and forth around what's going right in the northwest and what the past few months have done to upend 'business as usual' in the region.

Stef and Taylor, the health and wellness coordinators for the team take a break from their ever-growing list of duties to discuss the impacts of quarantine so far, the road back to health for the team, and what even some insights into how they've managed to keep 18 people healthy and happy on the road.
