What do I mean by "creative faith"? In the previous episode I discussed the importance of developing a creative faith to see God acting in new ways today. In today's episode I propose the meaning of such faith by exploring the healing story of the daughter of the canaanite woman in Matthew 15. Her interaction with Jesus provides fresh insights into this new series. 

This is the beginning of a new season, where I will explore alternative answers to the question, how does God saves today? There is an urgent need to reinterpret God's acts of salvation in new contexts, with fresh eyes. To do so, we must be able to come to terms with unnecesary obstacles that may be hindering us from discerning the work of God around us. 

I discuss the ethical framework of 1 Peter, namely, the distinctive nature of the revelation of God in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. 

How do we live as faithful disciples in the midst of a broken world? 1 Peter uses the term "sojourners and exiles" to encourage Christian disciples to live holy and faithful lives while awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus. The basis for Christian ethics is the particular revelation of God in the person of Jesus.
