For now, We've asked former guest Shawn Rouse and frequent listener and #nbpoli politico Just Wiswell to regale us with all the "coulda, woulda, shoulda's" that is the reality of the PC government's interactions with New Brunswickers. Another week has come and gone and no election has been called, but the threat is still there. 

We are going to get beyond the political calculus and election chatter this week to dive into some of the frontline issues affecting New Brunswickers. There is a lot of noise out there and by the sound of some of it, you would think most folks in NB are concerned about policies guiding our teachers, reducing our debt, or gun rights. We know that isn't true and so this week we have a great chat with friend of the podcast Katie Herrington who has been working in community development and brings a political science perspective as well. 

Surprises all around NB, no election has been called. That's right, Premier Higgs had us all so convinced there would be an election that even Elections NB was fooled into spending tax payer dollars to begin setting up returning offices. So what does it mean and where are we going? It looks like Blaine read the tea leaves on some recent results in Manitoba and/or some internal polling. What does it mean for the Liberals? Frustration. Let's talk about it.
