What a week for the boys and the racing world as we all witnessed Zanvoort live up to great highs with an epic finish to a great race of strategy. Another tough day was witnessed for the Tifosi as Ferrari not only messed up on Sainz strategy, pit stop and release all at different times of the race as Charles couldn't compete with Max in the process. Verstappen truly extends the title lead.
Indycar saw an amazing strategy play out. The Penske duo of Power and McLaughlin really showed this on perfect display dominating the field. While Newgarden would struggle with the tire strategy and cost him in the end now sitting 20 back of Power while McLaughlin sits some 41 points barely in the title shot.
Nascar then had a chaotic race on Sunday which we discuss how this can be the start of pure uncertainty for many drivers the next two races.

This week @nascarnonstop from instagram joined the show! We talk about his liking of Nascar and what really drove him to not only start a page but keep growing it. From stories of childhood to his take on the sport these days. There's many topics discussed and just how his views as a college student make for great timing in today's media society.
Cj unfortunately missed the show this week but with great reason as work is always a main focus for all.

As one watched on the couch the other experienced speeds we haven't on a non superspeedway in years. Nascar was in the Irish Hills of Michigan for a date with the track faster than the rest. Chris tells of his experience at "Nascar's Fastest Track." From the speeds they carried as driving right on by him and friends from the stands. To what it was like being at the race where his most purchased adult beverage was the race winning sponsor.
Then we discuss the chaos of Indycar and what happened down in the Music City. From the tangles of Newgarden and Grosjean to the amazing finish between the Kiwi Scotts. Another action packed weekend for the highest open wheel series in America.

This week was a way more interesting turn of events. The boys sit down to discuss what happened over in Hungary and how Verstappen almost has one hand on the title at this point. Ferrari masterclass strategy leaves everyone in shock with blunder after blunder it seems almost every race coming to Hungary where it seems that this past Sunday truly exemplified how it's like to to be a Ferrari fan.
Over in the states, Indycar and Nascar had a double header on the Indy Road Course which started with Indycar on Saturday. A great showing of racing with Alexander Rossi scoring his first win in three years.
Then on Sunday Nascar took on the Indy road course. It wasn't quite the chaos of last year but tempers were flaring. Many wrecks and many spins but one man got it done in the end. Tyler Reddick scores his second win of the season and second road course win in the month of July.
At the end of the episode the boys give their picks for this weekend's races of Nascar at Michigan. Indycar on the streets of Nashville and IMSA at Road America.

There was a lot to unpack from a wild weekend in the racing world as Cj and Chris did their best to hammer out every detail that they could. The boys start the episode breaking down their weekends and what all happened in their crazy lives that lead to a late recording and even later release to this week's episode. From the fast thoughts of Cj's round the clock and round the region job. To Chris heading to the Irish Hills of Michigan to do some Country A$$ $#!t at Faster Horses where the music wasn't the only thing that was fast.
But the fast thoughts didn't end there. As Formula One was over in France, this lead to what the boys thought of the F1 circus visiting the track made of 167 configurations and the land of Lavender fields. For one driver it was anything but fields of flowers and where rubber met the road a little too much and a lot too little.
Back in the state Indycar was taking on their final oval race of the season with a double header weekend in Iowa. Where the race winning car on Saturday didn't quite make it to the end of the race on Sunday in a very sad and dangerous way. This leads many to speculate the idea of what if that racer can't race this coming weekend for the Harvest Grand Prix at Indianapolis.
Lastly, Nascar headed to the mountains of Pennsylvania where the Tricky Triangle of Pocono took one competitor from racing on Sunday leaving the door open for a very early intro to the Cup Series for a very young, up and coming driver that now after recording we know will race again this weekend at Indy.
There's many talking points this weekend and we try to crack down on all of them. Be ready to sit back and relax as we talk all things motorsports here at On the Chip.

Nascar took to New Hampshire which saw some action packed racing along with a new winner yet again this season. Christopher Bell took home his first win of the season marking Truex Jr and Blaney on the cut line showcasing the problems and excitement of the playoffs. We discuss what happened between Austin Dillon and Brad Keselowski and how this is an extremely bad look for AD. But we also break down what has been happening with free agency and how Reddick's move in 2024 could bring a snowball effect of outcomes for so many others.
Scott Dixon reaches 52 career wins in hopes to have the record himself at some point before he calls it a career with a win north of the border. Alex Palou and CGR and Mclaren all in the midst of who is Palou racing for next season. It looks to be Mclaren, but why this messy situation poises more issues for everyone involved along the way.
At the end of the episode Chris breaks down the picks we all made for this weekend and why we chose them.

The boys gathered this weekend to talk all things motorsports and get a little off topic at times. First was obviously to discuss the happenings of Montreal and F1 returned to the Canadian street circuit for the first time since before the Covid-19 pandemic. The race discussion was rather in and out of topic but always a fun listen. We discuss the events that were the first SRX race of the season that saw a always fan favorite Helio Castroneves win on Saturday night. Along with Todd Gilliland giving his father's team the win in the first race that Todd has ever raced for his dad David.
Stick around later on as we give our picks for this upcoming week for the Cup Series along with IMSA's DPi and GTDP classes. But we couldn't forget about the SRX drivers as they head to South Boston Speedway for race 2 of 6 in the SRX season.
