این مجموعه کوتاه ۱۴ قسمتی برای بررسی نامههای چاپ شده جی. آر. آر. تالکین است. این برنامه که قبلاً در سالهای ۹۲ تا ۹۴ در «نفیر شاخ گوندور» منتشر شده بود، احتمالاً برای بسیاری از همراهان آردا شناختهشده نیست و به همین خاطر تصمیم بر این شد که این بخشها از پادکست به صورت جداگانه در اختیار طرفداران رشته افسانه تالکین قرار گیرد.
واضح است که زمان ضبط این بخشها در ۶ تا ۸ سال پیش با کمترین امکانات صورت گرفته، هنگامی که هنوز پادکستها آنچنان پا نگرفته و شناخته نشده بودند؛ اما به نظرمان از دست ندادن این مطالب ناب در کتاب نامههای جی. آر. آر. تالکین ارزش بازنشر آنان را دارد.
