Audio Quality
Audio quality is not great throughout, which is unfortunate because there’s really no excuse for that - a $50 USB mic and a faster internet connection would have made a huge difference to the listenability of the show. Good questions at times, and good rapport with guests though. Had a lot of potential, just wish it was executed a little better as a show. Constantly referencing other interviews is a double-edged sword - i feel like you want to build cache with the guest, but it also takes away from them and the conversation in the moment.

No issues at all
Dreck
Half of the Maynard Keenan interview is the host trying to rope him into saying something bad about Trump or just make a political statement. After that he moved on to the album that he couldn’t remember the name of. Great work! Really insightful!

Holy name drop
My advice…..listen to the ones with guests you really like. His constant name dropping and having to say “ it’s funny because “ or “ it’s interesting because “ before every question gets annoying.
are you kidding me
Clearly an interested music fan, but…
The interview with Belinda Carlisle - who has had a long, varied, interesting 40+ year career - seemed to be focused on twelve different versions of the same question: “what artist do you like?” “what artist would you like to perform with?” “what artist would you like to hear perform your songs?” “what artist’s songs would you like to perform?” I appreciate that as a fan, you’re curious about her answers to those questions, but as a listener, it makes for an awkward, kinda uninspired show.

Great Artists
Maybe write questions ahead of time. A little more focus. Would have liked to know how Mike Patton writes his lyrics. Stuff like that. Good luck to you.

Stop interrupting!
Some great artists! Let them speak... it’s not about you.

Bleh.
Would be great to hear the artists be able to speak more. It’s infuriating hearing them be interrupted so often.
