I had the great honor of being a guest on Lauren’s podcast recently. It was a truly beautiful, expanding experience. She has created this extraordinary, vulnerable space for people to talk about grief. It’s a needed topic and she is absolutely the right person to guide it into this world of podcasts. I adore Lauren and didn’t hesitate when she asked me to be a guest, but I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I’ve never been able to or really wanted to speak of the grief I’ve carried, the grief that has at times in my life been crippling. Then we started talking, and she has this way about her, this beautiful way of listening. The stories spill out and the feelings overflow. And as a grief coach, Lauren is prepared for it all, it’s just so lovely. The ongoing feedback I’ve gotten from our episode together has been incredibly kind, but moreover it’s been that this podcast is a gift to those in need of reassurance that grief is among us all. That grief manifests in so many different ways, that it lives and breathes in us as we go through our lives and that there is no right or wrong way to grieve.
