I'm on fire for Jesus! ...usually, but lately I've been feeling like He's ignoring me and the fire is going out. Why is He hiding from me? Question of the day: Jesus said He gives us peace, then He says He doesn't give us peace but a sword instead. I don't get it?

In this episode, I share my thoughts about the question, "Why is God hiding from us?" Why doesn't He simply make Himself plainly clear? 

Many years ago, I learned a valuable lesson about parenting with a Christian perspective from this parable. ?Question? Do we really need Jesus to be saved? AND What about all those people who never heard of Jesus?

Jesus told his disciples that if they couldn't understand this parable, they would have trouble with the others. Why is that? And why doesn't Jesus explain the parables plainly to all people? Why all the mystery????

If you research, "how to be successful", you get a lot of talk about setting goals, being self-confident, and persevering with a positive attitude. But, God gave three things to do so that we can prosper and be successful, and it doesn't look anything like the list I got on the internet. 

The Bible contains 66 books written by over 40 different authors over a span of around 1600 years, but it tells one, cohesive story. This is that story.

God decided to partner with ordinary people to write the Bible, but this can cause a lot of problems. Questions about the reliability and validity,  concerns about possible errors, and issues with different translations can be a barrier to the gospel. Wasn't there a better way for God to reveal Himself? We'll discuss why partnering with people is best.

In this episode, I talk about God's purpose in giving us His written word. What are we supposed to get out of it? What is He trying to tell us? I also answer questions about anointing.
