The Hinderances To Our Prayers
Pastor Jeremiah Gabbard | Eph. 6:18 The sermon identifies three primary spiritual barriers that obstruct effective communication with God, drawing primarily from Ephesians 6 and supporting texts like Psalm 66 and Mark 11. The preacher argues that unconfessed sin creates a separation between the believer and the Father, requiring immediate repentance to restore fellowship. Additionally, harboring unforgiveness toward others, particularly within marital relationships, is presented as a critical hindrance that prevents God from hearing prayers. Finally, disregarding or turning away from God's Word renders prayer an abomination rather than a connection with Him. The message urges believers to examine their hearts and relationships to remove these obstacles and maintain a vibrant, unhindered prayer life.

The Majesty Of God
Genesis When we gather on Sunday Morning's to worship God one of the things we do is sing. Congregational singing is the primary musical expression in worship. The hymns we sing aren't chosen by accident. We sing hymns to give glory to our Sovereign Creator, the Lord God Almighty. Hymns like 'How Great Thou Art' or Great is the Lord.' One hymn in particular found in our Baptist Hymnal is # 215 entitled 'Majesty.'

Hating Evil; The Simple Made Wise
The sermon urges believers to abandon naivety and actively discern the reality of wickedness by observing its consequences. Drawing from Proverbs 21, it defines wickedness as a rejection of God's character and highlights Jesus' absolute hatred of iniquity. Using contemporary music as an example, the message illustrates how entertainment can mask destructive spiritual outcomes. It challenges the audience to cultivate a holy revulsion toward sin while resting in the complete righteousness found in Christ. The central call is to pursue wisdom through the conviction of the Word and the grace of Jesus.

The Gospel That Brings Light
Pastor Jeremiah Gabbard | 2Cor. 4:3-7 "What Satan seeks to blind men from, God uses to regenerate men with—the light of the glorious gospel of Christ." The sermon explores the transformative power of the gospel as a source of spiritual light for those in darkness. It outlines four key truths from 2 Corinthians 4, emphasizing that the message is hidden to the lost and that Satan actively blinds minds to prevent belief. The preacher argues that humanity's primary need is not information but spiritual reconciliation through faith in Jesus Christ. By contrasting spiritual blindness with the illuminating work of God, the text highlights the necessity of preaching Christ crucified. The message concludes with an urgent call for individuals to accept this free gift of salvation and for believers to share this light with others.
