Great podcast! Such interesting stories, love true crimes!

Great imagery! You can picture everything in each podcast. Podcaster has a great voice for this. I’m not usually a fan of murder stories, but I’m hooked on this one!

Have fun playing with sound effects. They don’t work. Blah!

I am listening to an episode right now. I tuned in expecting another run-of-the-mill true crime podcast. What I got was spirit possession and the occult reminiscent of Silent Hill. But it’s a real story! Wow. I could listen to this all night long if it weren’t for how scary it was.

I just found this podcast I’m loving it so far.

In the Dan Markel episode “University of Florida law professor” should be Florida state university. It’d be different if it were a slip of tongue in a conversational podcast- easily done if you’re not familiar- but this is clearly a rehearsed presentation at the beginning. Kind of a turn off. Edited to add: after it mentioned looking for toll roads entering Tallahassee I had to shut it off. Tallahassee has no toll roads. Get your research right.

I am so glad this podcast came back- it is an interesting format. Very different from other true crime podcasts.

Great narrative style with lesser known murder cases.

I like the originality of the format and it’s well done. However, I have to stop listening because the sound effects are driving me insane. The music plays way to much and for too long. I’ll check back in and see and maybe it’s just me.

Excellent voice(s) to listen to, compassionate even. I would like the episodes to be longer but thats just me wanting more and more and more.

I’ve listened to LOTS of true crime podcasts and this is the best that tells the story of a true crime. It’s research is great and I love their voice re-enactments - much much better than anyone else. Only negative is there aren’t enough episodes - keep up the fabulous work!

I wish there was more consistency with episodes coming out, if even once a month! Every 5 months is rough!

Love everything about this podcast! The music is fabulous. The host can tell a great story.

Fantastic sound design, great subject matter and all narrated in captivating way. My only complaint is that you used time at the top of the podcast to whine about 3 star reviews. I get that every podcast wants nothing but 5 stars but berating your listeners because they give an honest review is sad. You have a first class podcast and should be above such displays. Ratings can be changed by the listener down the road and berating those who use iTunes rating system the way it was intended won’t make them feel good about changing that 3 star to 5 later. Don’t be one of the whiners rise above. Complaining and calling out listeners will only make trolls come for attention.

Like the background noise, but hate re-enactments more than anything. The bar has been set so high for Tru Crime podcasts, that these days you reeeaaally have to be a cut above. Fake “disguised” voices (to protect the voice actor?) to add to the drama comes off as cheeseball. The young man hosting sounds young, & thru no fault of his own, I just keep waiting for his mom to pop into the studio (bedroom), and say, “Dinner’s ready!” Could be useful for insomniacs. Consult your doctor b4 listening. You may fall into an eternal slumber

It’s a true crime podcast doesn’t receive 5 stars on every review. If you like true crime podcasts, this is every bit a 5 Star Podcast. Be warned, if you listen to one episode you’ll end up binge listening to all of them and wishing for more. MURDER CAST now ranks as my #1 true crime podcast. Can’t wait to hear future episodes.
