Burger v Yogurt: Get your own series!
I stumbled across your doc on hbo tonight on a referral after watching the yogurt shop murders. The lady that helps them tie it all together needs her own show!! You guys should get her to help on some of your cold cases for your own series, not just a one off unsolved episode. OMG- you guys! what if it’s THE SAME GUY!!!! Anyway, I’m into your podcast now, keep doing good work!

False about Josette Wright
The three episodes about Josette Wright contain several serious and misleading falsehoods and omissions about what really happened to Josette Wright. Information was gathered only from the victim's tunnel-visioned sister and select newspaper articles. They are trying to grow their following by riding the coattails of Bone Valley Season 5, which tells a highly more accurate version of what likely happened to Josette and the two boys falsely accused. It is both disgusting and scandalous. Hot trash! Thumbs down!

Hosts with respect and empathy for their subjects. Not exploitative or salacious.
I’ve been listening to this show for years, possibly for most of its run. Aine and Kevin’s way of interacting with one another is charming and funny without being distasteful. This is something which I often find inappropriate while hosts are discussing tragedy and violence. Their victim focused coverage has been consistent throughout the series. Being an informed consumer is important to me and I have never felt a twinge of disappointment in their content. I really enjoy the choice to explain legal terminology, giving the listener the most complete understanding possible. Additionally, Aine and Kevin aren’t lazily regurgitating Wikipedia entries or simply unrepentant plagiarists. For these reasons, I decided to become an annual subscriber this morning. I’m hesitant normally but I love this show and listen so frequently, it’s long overdue. Please give this show a try.

Prosecutor misconduct cheat sheet
I am completely confused by your rant about the prosecutor’s office in Pennsylvania. You seem to be implying that the adversarial system of justice supports prosecutorial misconduct, and that is okay with you. You took a tangent into the George Floyd murder? You also imply that most innocence protects are fraudulent. You suggest that if we have a problem with prosecutorial misconduct, we should stage a revolution rather than working to find justice within the system. Am I understanding you correctly?

All episodes behind paywall
So bummed that this podcast is now all subscription based. I really enjoy the way they tell stories and do a deep dive, but I’m not going to pay when there are so many other options. Too bad!

Dishonest
This was a decent podcast at one time, but it has now just become a platform where these two constantly lie to their listeners and presenting their lies as facts. There are many other great true crime podcasts that are honest about the cases that discuss.

You are right and wrong on Alex Murdaugh
I am a 45 year old life long resident of SC. I love you both and your perspectives, but your comment about this not being a “good ole boys” decision couldn’t be more incorrect. You are right on the merits, but no one else in SC would be getting a second trial under the same circumstances. We have a very twisted justice system and this is almost terrifying

Thank you!
Your most recent podcast featuring James Comey was spot on! Thank you for the great podcast ❤️

I just cannot
I’ve tried listening to this podcast a few times and today I decided to give it another shot on the Richard Allen appeal. But I had to stop not even 15 minutes in. Obviously it’s your show and everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but it’s so clear that it’s either exactly what you say or it’s wrong. You stated multiple times “ I’m not a lawyer”, but then talk of how ignorant the appeal document was and how it’s an insult you. Well maybe you should become a Lawyer?! I’m open to being subjective to others opinions but all you guys do is bash anyone that is against you throughout your show instead of standing on the Facts of the case or even leading to them.

Great show!
Aine and Kevin are so engaging! I love the banter between you guys! Whether we are traveling on the Cain Train or learning about Aine’s latest cereal heist,I’m all in! Thank you for all the research you do and your honest opinions on the cases you cover. Always done in a respectful way.

Nuances
I really enjoy the thoughtful intelligent legal dialogue and deep investigative reporting. Ania commented on how the true crime audience usually prefers a black or white/good or bad approach, but I want to encourage you to continue to explore the nuances of defendants and victims. My personal observation about why the defendants stories more popular when portrayed so “picture perfectly “ is that it taps into the fear that the average person can be wrongfully accused and convicted. It’s so true that there is a reason WHY they become defendants in the first place, and it’s rarely police corruption. Your podcast has helped me understand and regain confidence in our justice system. Thanks for all your hard work.

One of the better shows
Since discovering this show I’ve become a regular listener. It’s one of the better true crime podcasts in my opinion. However, the bashing in the Ciphers episode was cowardly and pointless. You didn’t discuss any facts or name parties to which your opinions clearly pertained to a particular person and case other than the one mentioned. If you’re going to make an opinion, discuss the facts and lead the audience to your view. It’s pointless to PSA “don’t believe everything you hear”.

Hailey Buzbee
I am a resident of Fishers Indiana and a long time listener. Thanks for your coverage of Hailey’s disappearance and murder. This may make no difference to you or anyone else but please don’t refer to her as just “Buzbee” - it feels harsh to my ear. She was just a young girl. A child.

Yea, stay in your lane.
Strongly agree with the review from “Fair minded listener”. Grow a pair and cover the murders of those innocent women brutalized by illegals. Not immigrants. Illegals. Words matter. I do appreciate when Kevin recognizes he needs to just move along rather than acknowledge the childish rants of the female host though.

Stay in your lane
Stay in your lane. If you don’t talk about the crimes of the innocent people killed by illegal immigrants raping, murder & driving drunk. Then don’t talk about the agitators that fight the Law enforcement.

Thanks for doing a podcast on this. Also thank you for doing a podcast on Melissa Hortman, which unfortunately happened in the same state just six months ago. Saturday night I sat in my bathtub and cried for a man I’ve never met. A man that was directing traffic and protecting women. Wondering how we got here. Keep covering the hard stuff. I respect you for it. Our political climate is so harsh and I know it’s hard to speak on these things. But right is right and wrong is wrong and if we lose that, we’ve lost everything. So again thank you for speaking out.

Love it!
I’ve been listening to his show since I found it during Covid. Not sure how old it was then. I don’t have social media. I’ve never seen their faces. The last few episodes Kevin is talking about his birthday. Àine mentioned an age gap. Kevin you sound like you’re in your 30s. I don’t know what you look like, but you don’t sound older than Àine. Happy Birthday! 🎉 I hope it was relaxing and fun.

EXCELLENT recap of the convicted murderer Kensu. Finally some well researched and intelligent information that unfortunately will fall on many deaf ears that refuse to acknowledge the devastating evidence against this monster

Enough with the stupid train references!! You sound like a child!! The banter is ridiculous, just get to the point!

Love Àine & Kevin
I love the reporting, getting all the facts in but also the emotion of these episodes. This is true crime and it is emotional!! If you aren’t feeling anything listening then we will be listening to your crimes soon. Keep up the great work!! 💜💜

Oh Kevin- I just love you (you too Aine). Your words to Baldwin in Baldwin Complaint Part 2. Chefs kiss 👏🏽. And I love your laughs together at some of the ridiculousness of people and gaps in logic. It makes me snortle with you 😂. Great job you two!

Info with some laughs
Great informative podcast. Love the hosts and their play off each other. There’s always a laugh on each podcast and it’s just a good fun listen.

Ummm
The drag old murder case relatives, victims and family members thing is bizarre. This podcast has definitely cracked new lows in podcasting over time but after the Delphi trial coverage which was quite timely and good it’s just become click bait insanity. It’s not quite unlistenable but it’s really close.

Prosecutor’s Puppets
The hosts of the show lean very heavy to the side of police and prosecution on any potentially wrongful conviction they mention. They will condemn another show or podcaster for using names or putting out info that cannot be 100% verified and then turn around and do the same if it fits their narrative. The ads are way louder than the show so you constantly have to change the volume while listening. Show is slow and hard to follow. I listened to a ton of episodes and tried to give the benefit of the doubt but the WM3 episode was my breaking point. I only made it about 20 mins into that episode before I had to shut it off.

Well worth a listen!
A’ine and Kevin compliment one another perfectly with quality storytelling and in-depth descriptions of all things True Crime. I discovered them after they co-hosted on True Crime Garage and have been binging ever since. The Murder Sheets’ calm, rational presentation enriches curious minds and sheds light on the vast world of evil versus justice.

Incredible Podcast
Love the Murder Sheet! Their coverage of Delphi was out of this world and I’m thrilled about Shadow of the Bridge - what an accomplishment! But more importantly, their coverage of the murder of Scott Macklem completely transformed my view of this case. They are not afraid to do the research and stand on the side of a case that may be unpopular. Temujin Kensu, or whatever his legal name is, is a monster and is exactly where he belongs. Mind blowing!

More Kevin, please
I love this show and the interaction between you both. I wish, though, that you would talk more, Kevin! You have insightful comments and observations when you do contribute, but you’re very much in the background. I think the show could benefit from a more balanced approach.

Mixed bag of journalism
It’s a little frustrating that they mention all these serial killers, and murderers more broadly but especially serial killers, who worked in police military during the time when the CIA was running the Phoenix Program and any number of other horrible mass murder campaigns abroad and the two hosts never stop to wonder if perhaps these are connected. Would mail them a copy of Programmed to Kill if I could! For people who do a lot of good journalism and seem to genuinely take great effort to do right by the trade, it’s pretty telling how incurious they are about patterns and systems. I mean to touch on Robert Brashers, who served in the military, BTK, pick your favorite murderer, and just yadda yadda the fact that they killed people abroad or were around people who did is kind of crazy. These two phenomenons are obviously connected and 99% of true crime podcasts ignore what is plain to see.

Murder Sheet
The wording of this podcast is so trifling and elementary. I would not waste my time or money listening to an ounce of this drivel. And the narration sounds nasally and unconvincing. This book is all puffery and takes advantage of these two girls deaths. No one should be profiting off of their tragic deaths. The obsession of these two with their twenty five year long ranting of the Burger King Murders and now a book about the Delphi Murders, writing another revised version, after the whole trial concluded, needs to stop. Let those little girls rest in peace. If people are wanting answers just read the legal case itself.

Really researched
This is a very well researched podcast. It’s presented by two people who care about the topic they present and aren’t just looking to follow a narrative. They’re getting review bombed by people who don’t have the same ethics and strike by their keyboard. K&A can back up anything they present by the facts. They are not afraid to change their opinions and admit when they change their minds. If you’re interested in cases being presented with depth and a podcast that has a steady audience of people who care, this is your podcast.

Best coverage of Temujin Kensu Case
Why has Temujin Kensu stayed incarcerated for 38 years through multiple governors, multiple administrations, multiple reviews by parole boards, and a recent close examination by the Conviction Integrity Unit? This podcast explains why: because Temujin Kensu is guilty of murder. Aine and Kevin have done their research, and they debunk all of the conspiracies (Kensu desperately wants you to believe that there is a Michigan-sized conspiracy against him and that every single player who put him in prison is lying. Every single one!). After listening to The Murder Sheet, any TC podcasts that come to a different conclusion - you know who you are - sound either gullible or lazy or both. Anyone doing proper research should come to the same conclusion: Temujin Kensu is guilty. Temujin Kensu is a murderer and he belongs in prison. This series was done so well, and I look forward to listening to more from this team.

Enough is enough, go back to telling us a story
I’ve listened since the very beginning, and up to the extensive, opinionated, and most recently the boring discourse about the defense attorneys, your podcast was tolerated. No longer. Kevin, how many trials have you tried in court, with and/or without a jury. If any, how many of those were criminal cases. Àine, you’re supposed to be a journalist, measured, impartial, and without judgment. Well, you’ve violated your ethics. If you two didn’t notice, half of this country believes in the unfounded conspiracy about the 2020 election such that they’ve throw the Constitution out of the window. So, if the defense attorneys want to do the same, that’s their choice. I don’t believe they’ll be successful if that’s all they got, but I’ll say if I went on trial for murder, guilty or not guilty, I’d try any tactic possible. MOVE ON TO ANOTHER CASE!! Update: STOP WITH THE BANTER!

Omg! Nerds like me!
The latest Episode was everything. Even a mention of A Canticle for Liebowitz, one of my favorites. Thanks for the lighter moments in the midst of hard true crime news.

A lot of misinformation
This podcast prides themselves of being factual but actually have way too much misinformation for my comfort. Just doing quick google check proves a lot of wrong facts as they go through. If you’re going to do a podcast on true crime you have to do it with correct information, sympathy and empathy all of which I think this podcast is lacking. This is more of a story telling podcast than an actual true crime podcast. It misses the mark by a lot.

The Speedway Murders
Have you guys seen “The Speedway Murders” on HULU? It’s about the Burger Chef murders, an Australian prod, go figure, and starts with a vintage tv ad from Burger Chef. No review as I just started it. Fazio….your review would be interesting based on its being the start if your podcast.

I started listening to this podcast about 6-7 months ago and really loved it. I feel that the show was much more polished back then. There is more opinion based talk/soap boxing with Anya than reporting. I’m surprised by this because she’s a journalist. Some of it was kinda “triggering” for me. This is due to her editorializing about mental health. I understand that she’s often talking about people who are a danger to others. I generally don’t feel sad when I hear people speak about crimes and mental health issues, but Anya’s manner of speaking really got to me for some reason. Not sure how long I will continue to listen.

Devils Den Episode
Bizarre and tabloid worthy statements from this woman. Judging him for complimenting his daughter playing obviously football? Judging him for being a male running club leader? And I could go on. Why do you agree what she’s saying is “ so weird”. As an educator theses statements are so crummy and I don’t defend what he did but this episode was way out of line and pure gossip. Disappointed.
Andinelson
Ughhhhh whyyy?
I thought this was a good show for facts and reporting until you all centered these Viper whoever people. You have to look at both/multiple sides regardless if you think it’s viable or valuable. This is why so many people are in prison wrongly convicted. Everyone has bias so when you take the approach “oh this is obvious, no need to dig” then you are setting up to have innocent people in prison. You are bringing down your credibility. I always thought you all truly were careful about what and how you report but to have someone on proudly saying police can’t be crooked is WILD. And to sit there and not say anything means you agree. I am not even talking about that specific case— I’m saying to make that over generalization that people shouldn’t think critically and review everything presented is terrible.
