I’ve tried unsubscribing and resubscribing several times, and I still can’t get episodes to play regardless whether they are old or new. Not sure what’s going on but it’s a shame because I really enjoyed the podcast.

Would be a great podcast but half the podcast is ads. The ads make this unlistenable.

Awful! There are so many true crime podcasts with detailed accounts of events that aren’t constantly bombarded with ads. I literally had to skip and skip and skip for more than half of the podcast to get past the ads. Worst of the worst.

This used to be a good podcast. Now the ads are far longer than the actual episodes, I never know when new ones are being released it would seem once a month or less, and the episodes are no longer edited or edited very poorly.

The narrator can’t even be bothered to re-record when she stumbles over her words. She’s obviously reading a script so the least she could do is do a retake when she messes up. ✨unfollow✨

I used to like this podcast but recently it’s become way too graphic. There is also zero editing and the host stumbles over most of the words.

Firstly, I want to point out that these episodes are no longer bite-sized murder stories. They are but mere crumbs! I listened to a 22-minute long “episode” and FAR MORE than half was ads!!! The entire story took her like 6 minutes to read out. What a waste of time and huge disappointment to how it used to be. If you have that many ads you should be compensating the rest of the episode to make it longer than 6 minutes. This podcast used to be good but like everyone is saying the new host is bad. I like the first one’s voice much better and she sounded more into the stories and content. Won’t be listening anymore. Unsubscribe. :/

I used to look forward to this podcast but now find it annoying. I want to like it, but just can’t. Where to begin? Mrs Smitty? What’s that about? It’s just weird. Also, the delivery is excruciating - it’s just painful to listen to.

I used to love this podcast but the new host is awful. She should really consider working on her delivery or at least doing multiple takes. It’s really hard to listen to now.

The quality of this show has significantly dropped. I am not sure who the new narrator is, but it seems as if she is having a hard time actually reading the stories, even the ads. The flow of the murder minute stories are littered with umms, awkward pauses, and repeated words. Is there any way you can bring back the old narrators.

The new hostess sounds like she is just reading an article to me. She seems to always rush through these episodes. I am at the point where I no longer listen to the episodes

This used to be my favorite podcast but recently they changed host and she is just not as good as the original 2. Also they used to upload weekly and now it’s a shot in the dark when a podcast might be posted. Sad to say this is no longer her my favorite.

I don’t often write podcast reviews, but wanted to add my “name” to the list of fans disappointed with the new narrator. A large part of the shows appeal was the original narrator. I hope they bring her back. This new one sounds very bored and her delivery is very tiring.

It’s almost impossible to listen and even evaluate the content. I miss our narrator. The replacement narrator is not very good. I might be able to listen if I at least knew that out narrator was well. Please, a report on our narrator.

The leg breaks where because he was hit by a car and thrown out 45 feet to his death and they threw his stuff. Just saying I don’t think it’s suicide !!!!

The new narrator is just not for me. Good quality sound and interesting stories but I just don't like it with the new narrator.

Update: 2021 the narrator was changed. Not impressed. Loved it the way it was. No longer interested . I love this podcast. The host (speaker) does such a fantastic job. The older stories are even interesting. I noticed she spoke faster in the earlier episodes; this rate makes the story more interesting. She's great! Keep up the good work! I look forward to the new ones. Big fan.

The new host is as monotone as the last host. There is no music or score anymore and sounds lazily-made.

I always liked this podcast and the hosts voice . Today the new host started and wow she speaks super fast !! Slow down omg I have to listen on the slower speed . Listen to yourself are you racing to finish ?

This new voice/story teller is horrible!!!! Will not listen and will inform all of everyone I know NOT to listen until the other voice returns!!!!

There’s a couple episodes I’ve listened to that I went and did my own reading and found that - in one episode in particular- an article was posted months earlier and the episode was read nearly word for word and I didn’t hear the article credited or quoted once. Yikes. I wanted to like this podcast because I was interested in the headlines but between the monotone robotic voice, 15 minutes of ads, and 10 minutes of actual story (and who knows how much is plagiarized) I just can’t.

The annunciation is hard to listen to, she sounds like a computer or robot speaking. I have no idea if the stories are good because of the looooong ads! Do we need 20 Minutes of ads? Just a crap podcast that I will be unsubscribing to.

This is so good. Facts with a great voice! Also love the crime current events before the true crime documentary.

Painful to listen to. I love to read the stories but the podcast is another thing. I cannot stand how slowly and impersonal the host is talking. It seriously may be a robot. I’m not sure.

The ads could be shorter, they kinda distract from the point of the podcast. Other than that, I love the podcast! The current hosts voice is pleasant.

I’m a family member of the people covered in one of these cases from almost 11 years ago. This is disgusting. A senseless tragedy is not entertainment to consume. There is nothing of value from this case to take away. It is an open and shut case. I cannot reiterate how gross this is.

Love this podcast! Will say... The music makes each story seem like it occurred in the early 1900s. Please update differently for each story and the time period it is set in!

Advertising spots seem longer than story

I just found this podcast yesterday & I love it! I’ve listened to 10 episodes already! I love that they are straight to the point & not a lot of chit chat about random things. Also no commercials!! I am listening from Birch Run, Michigan!! Thank you!!

You should really investigate the BLM organization before you support it. You don’t need to donate money to a corrupt organization to make a difference in someone’s life. I’m out.

I don't understand the 5 star ratings. The hostess (the older original one), is terrible! She sounds completely assinine when imitating someone. Not to mention, when forwarding through all the ads, IT’S ALMOST OVER. Deleting from library!! 😡

I’m really new to podcasts and this is only maybe the third or fourth one I’ve listened to but I think I’m hooked. The stories I’ve listened to so far have been long enough to follow a storyline, yet short enough to keep my attention. I forgot how much I like story time. I definitely recommend this to true crime buffs!

I don’t recall how I heard about this pod, but I love combo of the recent crime updates + the historical story. I don’t understand the background music though, it is unnecessary as her voice is exceedingly pleasant and the repetition of the same few bars of music is incredibly distracting to me, to the point where I can’t listen to an entire episode. If you need music maybe not have it be repetitive? 4 stars for the content and research.

I loved this podcast when it first started, the quick run over about current news. The stories are shorts but well put out. Its the 10 minutes worth of ads before getting to the story that brings this podcast rating down for me.

This podcast has become a far left advocating joke. First, she was mentioning a lot biased crime stories at the start of our Countries divide. Now she’s calling 8 month old babies who if born, can very well survive on their own, FETUSES. Next thing you know she’s gonna say “pile of cells was murdered by another pile of cells on x date & year”. There are better podcasts out there, not to mention she spends 10 minutes giving out biased news stories & the other 5 minutes on ads.

Just a few minutes of content for the sole purpose of running ads the rest of the episode. Greedy much?

Enjoy the content when we get there. Ads are definitely numerous, understandably given current state of affairs, but would recommend at least 1 less advertisement. It’s still in my library because it’s a quick intriguing timeout for a multi tasking woman who is a nurse when I leave and a mom and a teacher when I’m home.

I absolutely LOVE the Murder Minute Podcast. It’s definitely in my top 10 true crime podcasts. I also love the App! The only thing I would like is if the episodes on the podcast were a bit longer. Maybe a little bit more insight into the psyche of the subject? Or even a bit more insight into the murder/crime itself? Other than that, it’s a GREAT podcast!

It’s ridiculous the amount of ads on this podcast. Well over half on most of them. When they finally get to the story, its brief with only the major details talked about. Put in a little more effort and focus less on the money grabbing ads and you might have something.

Not even worth listening to when literally half of the episode is ads.....this show has been seeming so lazy.

I want to love this, love the daily headlines but the episodes are around 15 min and the ads are about 15. I understand ads are needed but they are just too many and to long. Stories are rushed and shorted so ad time can be had it feels.

So many ads... A 20 minute episode might have 12 minutes of ads -before the episode even begins- and while I get the show is meant to be brief, it be that much better with fewer advertisements.

This show was one of my first podcasts and I’ve loved it for a long time but they have ruined it with far too many ads and a bias, uninteresting current events section. The actual content you come for ends up only being like 15 minutes long and it’s not worth listening to all the ads.

Waaaayyy too many adds!
