I love the fact that you guys have been around for so long! And have stayed true to your topic. Other podcasts in this space eventually ran out of stuff to talk about and just started talking about the things that they found interesting which is cool and amazing, but you guys have literally stuck with the same topic for almost 2 decades. with that said you mentioned in last weeks episode the audiobooks and how you had really never listen to them. As a blind child growing up in the 90s and early 2000s, these audiobooks specifically the Jim Dale recordings, though being blind, I actually have believe it or not, four separate audiobook recordings of each book because each library service for the blind has its own recording, but the Jim Dale recordings were so important to me as a kid. I am super excited about the new fully dramatized recordings, and I’d love to be a guest at some point when you guys discuss the audiobooks. But in your history, has there ever been an episode about them because I would love to hear takes on which narrator you guys prefer or preferred things like that. Thank you for everything you do and keep up the great work.

It’s good, I feel like it’s rlly, well bland. I listened to “dobby lobby” and got extremely board almost instantly. I feel like it would be a lot better if there was less assumption and if the pidcast speakers where in a British accent just because JK Rowling really is true to the British element of it.

This podcast never fails to bright up my day or make me happy. Im thankful for its in depth conversations and it helps others to understand Harry Potter . I love it so much🥰✨

I started to listen to podcasts during the pandemic, and my favorite by far has been MuggleCast. I’ve been a die-hard Harry Potter fan since the age of 10 (more than 20 years ago) and have never looked back. This podcast means the world to me and has been a source of comfort for me during some really dark times I’ve had the last few years. Every episode allows me to disappear into the magical world that I love so much, and for that, I will forever be grateful to the amazing hosts! I especially want to thank the girls takeover hosts who did the episode on motherhood, one of my favorite episodes, as I’m currently pregnant with my first child. It gave me a newfound sense excitement over the prospect of introducing my son to the best fandom on the planet. Thank you!

I really like this podcast. I am not a big fan of the language, but overall you explain the chapters very well. I wish you would warn listeners that there are some spoilers that happen in some episodes. Overall really great podcast!

I LOVE this podcast and listen to it every day! I started listening to the podcast about 1-2 years ago, back at episode one. I was getting more interested in other series, (Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, etc.) so I did what any fan would do, and looked up some Harry Potter podcasts. MuggleCast was the first, so I picked it, scrolled down about 3 million episodes, and started at episode 1. Now, I am happily listening to episode 356! Thank you guys for rekindling my inner Potterhead!!

I’m discovering this podcast just now and I’ve listened to 3 episodes now 2 movie related and 1 book related and left wondering if they enjoy the content at all?! And they all agree with each other on the negative opinions thrown out which in the least makes for a boring listen. Rough listen. I’ll have to keep looking for my HP fix. Gave a two star since the audio quality was there at least.

So, i was looking for a new podcast, and searched up “Harry Potter” because it’s my favorite book series ever. I was looking through the results and they all looked normal and makeshift. Then I saw this one. It looked pretty real and professional. So I read the comments and description. And I came to my decision that it was pretty good. So I saved it so I could listen later. LATER I listened to a full episode and it was AMAZING this podcast is AMAZING!

Hello! I think that (in the answer to the quizzitch questions) that harry has been to the burrow four times in the whole series.

I’m a long time Harry Potter nerd who was too angsty in my early 20s when the last 3 novels were being released to participate in anything fan related (even though I was a hardcore fan, I thought other fans were lame- again, angsty 20 something 😂). So once I became a more emotionally regulated mid 30-something during the pandemic and I discovered Mugglecast, I had wondered where this podcast had been my whole life. If only I wasn’t so mean in my 20s I could have been enjoying this show for way longer. But all that aside, Mugglecast has become my favorite podcast that I look forward to every week. It has become a fun escape for me when the world is going crazy, I’ve always got my fellow nerd fans (now that I’ve decided other fans aren’t lame after all 😂) to hang out with on the podcast airwaves. Thank you all so much for doing this show for so long and for helping me to see the error of my ways in regard to my previous position on fandom.

The first Harry Potter book came out when I was in middle school and the last when I was in college. I would say at that time I was a fair weather fan, in that I read the first books because everyone else was reading them and the HP mania was at its peak. I actually didn’t finish the book series or watch the movies until recently, when a friend’s 10 year sons piqued my interest again. The past few years have been especially brutal for my mental health, and that, along with my difficult and high stakes job, have left me looking for an escape even more than usual. I’ve been reading along with the chapter-by-chapter and finding MuggleCast to be such a calm, fun, welcoming harbor in the sometimes slog of adult existence. It’s hard to say what I find so comforting and soothing about this podcast. The hosts seem like lovely and intelligent people, it’s nice to get deep in the weeds of a world that is very different from our own, and it is interesting to come back to the series with different adult perspectives. Much gratitude to these excellent humans for carrying on with their passions and putting a delightful piece of art into the world. 10 out of 5 stars for MuggleCast!

Hello mugglecast, My name is Lucy. I am from Wisconsin so I got that Wisconsin accent. I got into mugglecast about 2 years ago. It was a few days after Christmas and I had just gotten some new headphones for Christmas and I wanted to listen to a Harry Potter podcast. So as any person who has read the books 50 times would do I searched in the podcast app, Harry Potter. You guys were the first show that came up, and I immediately was like OMG, there is a show all about Harry Potter. Also no joke I have read the Harry Potter books over 50 times. I instantly fell in love. I don’t have patreon because I’m a 15 year old high school sophomore, but I still love to be able to listen to the weekly episodes. Even though I wasn’t alive when you guys started Mugglecast I would have loved to have been apart of listening to the first few episodes. Also if you guys read this on the show could Micah or Andrew or whoever attempted the Australian accent last episode try a Wisconsin accent I feel like that would be hilarious for all the Midwest listeners.

I love all the details and thoughts during their book chapter reviews and really appreciate that the hosts don’t interrupt each other, the audio is nice and crisp, very eloquent and articulate hosts (I especially enjoy hearing from Laura). I have been looking for a podcast that really interests me and it’s really nice to listen to this while I’m on my morning walks. All of the other podcasts that I have listened to have one problem they are super short or the person stopped making them. Let me just say that I LOVE THIS PODCAST!!! I have a idea I don’t know if you’ve gone over yet but in the chapter “the dementor” when they get off the train and they walk to the carriages Harry describes “at least a hundred stagecoaches awaited the remaining students, each pulled, Harry could only assume, by an invisible horse.” Why is it that Harry can’t see thesterals now but he can in In the order of the phoenix?
