What an amazing conversation with my guest Rev. Tammie Denyse, Co-founder of Carrie’s Touch, a breast cancer organization whose mission is, simply put, “to save more black women” with a mission “to humanize the black woman and her experience with breast cancer.” Those two statements, are short but powerful. Carrie’s Touch aims to walk along side black women diagnosed and living with breast cancer. To provide support, resources and help you build a village of people who can act and do on your behalf, sometimes when you can’t.
Carrie’s Touch is celebrating its 15th year serving black women and they are holding several events to mark to occasion. Tune in to hear a bit about their history, Rev. Tammie’s journey and how you can participate in celebrating this marvelous milestone.
