<p>Having always been active, but unable to take part in certain sports as a child, I talk to Nick about the impact of this and how he came to start challenging his fitness more in adulthood. Having also contracted endocarditis and nearly 3 months in hospital, we chat about how this was discovered and his determination to get back out there afterwards, leading him to take part in a triathlon only a short time after.</p>

A podcast for people living with a congenital heart defect that aims to inspire, motivate and encourage us to be as active as we can be within heart limits. For ACHD'ers, who have sign off from their cardiologist, being active can have so many benefits from supporting overall heart health, making the heart stronger to be able to better cope with events such as surgery, and improve our mental health.
