The quote of the day a few days ago was
"Raise your words, not your voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder."
- Rumi
This episode is all about remembering to be appreciative, grateful, and spread kindness to others! The quote above is something I am constantly working on. Conflict or debate is healthy when we are able to understand each other. We do not always have to agree with one another but always should respect and care for everyone. I am working hard on raising my ideas and words, not my voice! We all can create a better world to live in by being able to be more cognizant of others. This is something I strive to improve within myself! I hope that you all will join me in this quest.

From the minute that Mike agreed to join the podcast, I was extremely excited about our conversation. As in the case as a few of my other guests we first met on a baseball field. Actually at a professional baseball tryout! Our conversation begins with the nostalgic feelings of the pro-ball days and ends with an in-depth conversation about the power of the mind. Mike has such a passion for helping others reach their full potential on and off the field. Currently, Mike is earning his Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychology. He is an extremely intelligent individual whose passion shines when discussing his work and how everyone can become a better version of themselves! I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.

Episode 18 Be the Change feat. Dylan
Arrested so he invested!
The quote “Be the change you want to see in the world” Part two of my conversation with the Dynamic Dylan Joseph epitomizes the quote above. In the first portion of our conversation, you hear all about Dylan’s adolescent adventures. In this episode the discussion shifts to his career in law enforcement. Dylan was arrested multiple times before 18. He decided to study criminal justice in college. Then he embarks on an expedition of epic proportion, rising through the ranks of the New Orleans Police Department. This episode gave me a whole different perspective on being grateful that there are extraordinary humans like Dylan on the earth!
Thank you Dylan for challenging me to be a better person and do more for our community that is the United States of America!

On Instagram, for the past few weeks, I have been posting a quote every day about growth, positivity, perspective, and life itself. Yesterday I posted an amazing quote about surrounding yourself with empowering individuals!
In case you missed it the quote is below
“Be around the light bringers, the magic makers, the world shifters, the game shakers.
They challenge you, break you open, uplift, and expand you.
They don't let you play small with your life.
These heartbeats are your people.
These people are your tribe.”- Danielle Doby
This episode is all about the special people that have been a part of my tribe during my time in Arizona! Each individual played a vital role in helping me become the man I am today. One of the marvels of modern technology that we tend to take for granted is connectivity. Everyone is constantly connected to their phones, news, social media, email, etc. I am so grateful that although I am leaving Arizona that these individuals will be forever friends!
Let's use the immense power of technology and social media to our advantage. To be able to tell a friend/family member "Happy Birthday" or "Congratulations" or "I love you" via video chat or Facetime! Use social media to share kindness and positivity throughout the world!
Thank you to everyone for listening and being a part of my journey!
Love you all,
Mouth

Throughout the course of our lives, it is easy to lose perspective. We have a tendency of counting the curses (not swear words) instead of being grateful for our blessings. Dylan's astounding story, infectious energy, and outlook on life helped me recenter my perception. Our conversation helped remind me we should celebrate and be grateful for everything life has thrown our way. To appreciate who we have become in the process. Dylan's story like yours is unique a 1 of 1! This episode is only part 1 of our conversation enjoy this episode and stay tuned.

Do you talk to yourself? What does your inner conversation sound like?
In this episode, I examine how detrimental a negative inner conversation can be! A positive inner conversation is paramount to our happiness and success. Manifestation can work wonders for us or can cause havoc. This is something I have always struggled with is what I am telling myself on a daily basis. To help counteract and improve my daily affirmations I use what's called the "Wall of Fame" the mirror in my bathroom is filled with positive affirmations. Each morning and night I read them out loud to start and end my day the right way!
Join me on this journey to a better sense of self. Send a picture of your mirror with the phrases that help set you up for success!
