Amazing!!!
Such an amazing and refreshing approach to parenting. Before finding Abigail, I felt isolated and shamed as a parent because my kids were not doing everything I said when I said it, etc. Abigail has helped me find my voice and my values as a parent (and as a person!). She had helped me see that I love and like my children. She has taught me to worry less and love more. She has taught me what it means to be a benevolent leader within my own family. Can’t thank you enough!

Love it!!!
When I first found Abigail (on the hand in hand podcast) I was having a really difficult time trying (and failing) to be a gentle parent. Abigail’s wisdom, real-ness, and deep understanding of the inner working of our sensitive and strong willed children has changed my life! I so appreciate the work you do for us parents Abigail ❤️

A parenting perspective that resonates
Hi there. I’ve been wanting to reach out and thank you for such an amazing parenting perspective that truly resonates. Your passion for this topic is clear and your selflessness to bring such an important topic to light will help make the world a better place. It has been a mindset shift that has changed my parenting in such a positive way. All that being said, I did not want to leave this as a review because of the four stars I gave. I feel like your parenting information is 10 stars (I would give even more if I could) so I don’t want this to skew your ratings, but I felt compelled to voice my thoughts. Although I find the parenting information to be priceless, I have contemplated unfollowing this podcast on a few occasions. Right now the landscape of the world is focused on inclusion, however I consider myself to be a moderate conservative, as is a large part of this country. I find some of the unnecessary political remarking and commentary to be very isolating to me as a conservative and really unnecessary to a parenting podcast. I am aware that the pendulum has swung into a politically liberal landscape right now and I have always been curious to see through another person’s lens. I can see how critical some of the shifts in mindset are right now. I find the content in the parenting realm to be so beneficial that I’m willing to compartmentalize the politics that pop up in the podcast, however I honestly don’t come to a parenting podcast to be ridiculed or shamed for my political leanings. If the world’s landscape needs to work on inclusion, I think it would be ironic to not include a conservative viewpoint as a valid lens that someone may look through. I’m not looking for this review to be posted. I’m just hoping it’s something you will take into consideration. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your knowledge. Ultimately, the world is better because of you. Shani Baker

Purely inspirational
Abigail is just simply amazing! Finally a parenting approach that resonates with me. She provides such great insight and brings such raw emotions to the table. Her advice brings up so many emotions and provides encouragement that we can do this as parents. She honors the parent and child for who they are and provide direction and hope for a better future.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and was just brought to tears by Stephanie‘s interview. You have to have that woman back!! I kept saying that to myself throughout the whole interview. 20 minutes is not enough time. You have to bring her back you have to bring her back! Amazing.

Game Changing
I’ve been listening to Abigal since she was on Hand and and Parenting. Several times during my daughters toddler years that was my life line. Her mind flips are perfect - less than 10 minutes which means I can go listen to her even in the middle of my day or especially in the middle of a hard moment. Abby - thank you for helping me grow and learn and become the parent I want to be. Please keep being such a loving and thoughtful light to the world!!!

Very very useful advice
I have been listening to Abigail for some time now with her previous podcast with Hand in Hand Parenting. I love the way she explains things, the metaphors she uses because it always hit home with me. I am constantly looking if there are new episodes available and even though short episodes are nice sometimes, I could listen to her much much longer. Thanks for your help in this parenting journey.

Fun and so so valuable
I just can’t rave enough about this podcast. Abigail doesn’t make me feel “wrong” or judged for not knowing exactly what to do. She has a great sense of humor and her analogies are always spot on and so helpful. She gives ideas, examples, and just changes your perspective. I’d go as far as saying she is a gifted “therapist”. More importantly, my parenting is changed, in a positive way, because of this podcast. And I am given hope. Much thanks, Abigail!

LOVE LOVE LOVE
Every episode teaches me something new to think about, to try, to experiment with. And it is everything I have been trying to do which really thinking about the why or the behind the scenes emotional work we are actually doing. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to go a little deeper, who just is at their wits end, who wants to shape the souls of their babies. Listen! You will not regret it.

Like good triage care for heavy-hearted parents.
I hardly have words to explain how Abigail’s work (along with Hand in Hand Parenting) has opened me up to new channels of connection for me and my spirited little love. When I could sense I was “losing” my kid, I reached out to my trusted therapist who pointed me toward HIH. A deep dive in, I found Abigail’s voice to be pointed and compassionate, wise and sincere. To do this work is to choose LIFE - gritty and mother flipping beautiful. To have example of these conversations, through this podcast, has been a relationship-saver. Hearing the courageous guests on this podcast has given me strength and activated my desire to flex and grow and shift and watch my little family unfold into new and healthier territory. THANK YOU, ABIGAIL! To have rougher days end with genuine snuggles and heart-connections with my kid has changed everything. So thankful these voices help me rise to my own potential - slow and steady, my partner and I are building a more healthy family.

Love this metaphor for living a life of taking in the good! Focus on the goal not the obstacle. This can be very hard though, even knowing about our natural negativity bias. Would love to hear more about how to put this in practice.

A Soothing Balm and A Call to Action
I am so thrilled that Abigail took on this new format of actually allowing us inside of coaching sessions. My favorite parts of the HiH podcast were when she would “script” what a parent might say or how they might behave in a specific parenting dilemma because it answers the question I am always stuck with in the moment: what do I DO?? These sessions speak right to the heart of parenting, including the emotions and unconscious narratives that we often struggle with. I am so grateful to have this podcast. Keep them coming!!!

To the Heart of Parenting
Abigail is incredibly insightful. She truly gets to the deep root of any parenting challenge and questions from an emotional place that always makes sense. No quick fixes here or “this is what you need to do to make the behavior stop”. If you want to really understand yourself as a parent inside and out and take parenting to a soulful place, listen to this podcast.

Ehh, not sure I love it
While the info delivered in this podcast is helpful - Abigail has great insights that really can flip your thinking - her sense of humor that I enjoyed in the Hand in Hand Podcast is not here so much. It is still there a bit in her conversations with the parents, but the voiceover is so deadly serious. I miss the fun.
I missed WTMD!
Scare City
I’m am a parent of one child but still got a lot out of this podcast focussed on sibling rivalry. Most resonating was the idea of scarcity thinking and how it can create Scare City for our kids.

Parenting gold
I love listening to Abigail talk about parenting. She touches on the real stuff we all deal with as mothers but with hope for our growth, humor for our wounds, and tools for our to do lists. I recommend this cutting edge podcast- for me it holds a message about the journey of parenting, about not only how to survive it but love it. By listening to Abigail I feel like I have been reaching new levels of connection with my loved ones and opening myself up to a deeper and deeper understand of the layers and complex sitautions my children present with (and dont say that lighly). Being a parent is TOUGH and the community here keeps me interested instead of drowning in the messy business of parenting. If you choose to listen to this podcast I think you will find that the stories are quick and to the point but the point hits deep and has ripple effects that shift and lift your heart and mind. So good.

Addictive in the best way possible!!
Wow! I’m a first time listener to this Podcast but familiar with the work Abigale does on the HIH Parenting show. However this is different, special and super powerful. It’s raw and moving at the same time. Abigale has a deep Soul connection with her clients. In her coaching style I found she uses humor and relatable everyday examples to share the wisdom she is offering to all parents who are ready to listen and transform. Cheers to you!

Wow!!
I just listened to the second episode “Why can’t I see the good” and it felt like Abigail was speaking directly to me. All my insecurities around trying to be “perfect” and focusing on what’s not perfect yet felt like they were being brought out and at the same time like they were respected and not shamed, and I see a new way to look at the work around healing this. After listening I had an image in my mind of how I’ve felt in the past trying to do deep work on myself, like drowning or being caught in heavy, gloppy mud. And now I have this image of myself dressed in mud gear and mud boots and with a shovel, and it’s still hard, messy, difficult work but now I’m equipped to do it and I know where I’m going. Thank you Abigail, I’m looking forward to listening and gaining new insights each week!

Um, okay wow! Abigail is just incredible! I am not associated with the zombie apocalypse but, I want her brain! So insightful and healing for all who are open. This podcast is even better then I could’ve imagined. This girl is on fire! Abigail is so beautifully real, raw, perfectly candid and intelligent. This podcast is exactly, to the T, what I’ve been searching for, and it will be the only one I need to listen to. The things that I have learned about myself and for my family, are priceless. I’m just so grateful that I know about this podcast and I have no idea where I’d be without it. She hits the nail on the head. Thank you Abigail!

So Awesome!
I loved Abigail’s previous podcast show and now I am super excited about this one. What I love about Abigail’s podcasts is that she shares real parenting stories and offers advice and perspectives which totally transforms the way you look at something and helps move forward while building that connection with your child. She has brought so much awareness in my family life. Sometimes even when the topic isn’t something I am going through, her incredible wisdom can be applied to other situations. Thank you so much, Abigail! I am very grateful for the work you do.

Amazing!
Abigail is doing important work. She listens with compassion, empathy, and validation. My daughter is out of the nest and I find that it is still relevant. I wish I had listened to this when she was a little girl, much needed podcast! Listen as soon as possible.

If you want quick fixes, this is not the podcast. While Abigail does gives practical strategies on how to handle specific situations, she focuses more on the meaningful work of healing ourselves and deep rooted issues that come up in parenting. Before we can be the parents we want to be for our children, we need to be the person we want to be for ourselves. Love love love ❤️

If you are raising small humans- Listen NOW!!!☺️
I’m a mom of two. A working mom of two. I give until my heart feels like it might explode and yet I somehow always feel like I am failing. I was introduced to this podcast through a mom’s support group and listening has been the best part of my day. Abigail is literally a miracle. Her advice is real and raw and grounded and funny! I found myself laughing and inexplicably crying at the same time. She struck that “truth” nerve inside me and I’m never going back. I was a better mom after listening to this podcast. Because - I was a better me. Thank you, Abigail.

New favorite podcast!!
Thank you Abigail!! As always, with humor and empathy and kindness and understanding and fierce intelligence, Abigail is using specific mama’s issues as a jumping off point for a discussion about motherhood. She ALWAYS surprises me and I inevitably come away with a new take on what I’m doing. If you are someone interested in parenting with joy, intelligence and intention, this ones for you!!!

The deeper work of parenting
Parenting is the most important work I will do in this lifetime. Abigail knows this and she shows it with her dedication to supporting parents on their journey of parenthood. Listen to this podcast and get ready to have your mind expanded - parenting can make us laugh, it can bring us to our knees in tears, it can teach us about love, and Abigail offers us the tools, insights, perspectives, mind flips, and love we need to not only love our kids, but to lead them as well. And transform ourselves in the process!

Life Changing
I can’t say enough about the work Abigail is doing. Parenting is so much more than tips or tricks to get our kids to do something! But that’s what all the parenting advice out there is about. I felt like I was drowning as a mother and reading everything I could find but it just wasn’t working. I believe that’s because no one else was talking about how do I become the person I need to be to be to be able to parent my child and lead my family. That’s a lot scarier than “5 tips for potty training.” Parenting is a relationship between two people and we only ever talk about the kids because talking about ourselves as parents is too vulnerable. Abigail is brave enough to talk about that. I’m so glad she started this podcast so that other people can start hearing these stories. Because we’re only alone while we think we’re the only ones struggling. Thank you, Abigail, for putting this conversation out there.

Wonderful!
I’ve listened to the first episode and all I can say is wow! It’s unlike any parenting podcast I’ve listened to (although I adore HIH podcast also). It was beautiful your interaction with the mom in the first episode. I’m excited for more!
