Great content but the audio quality is awful. There have been some episodes (the mangowurzel episode comes to mind) that are unlistenable because the background music completely drowns out the speaker. With the interviews, you can barely hear one voice while another blows out your eardrums. It’s a shame because I love the topics and the content but I find myself listening less and less because it’s just not pleasant on the ears.

I have always loved the Mother Earth magazine and think I’m going to be a bigger fan of the podcast!!!

I really enjoy the content on this show. The group conversation style is so enjoyable and informative. The audio quality is very very poor and am surprised that after so many episodes, a big name that Mother Earth News hasn’t prioritized the audio. I wonder if the producers should listen to their episodes or something. Today, I could barely hear the audio while having the speaker next to me. My other podcasts don’t have this problem. I hope they fix this because I LOVE the info and encouragement. Sometimes the quality is so poor I am unable to listen while driving or doing housework as the background noise is to loud too hear some of the guests. Thank you for sharing!

I’m always grateful after listening to an episode. The team behind this show do an amazing job bringing the most relevant information to all of us listeners. They inspire and encourage. I have learned so much that I can bring to my edible landscaping business and the non profit sustainability team I help with. I’m always learning from this show and getting excited for making change to help others and the environment.

I love this podcast and she asks the questions that makes me think to open it up for guest to explain things that wouldn’t be explained if you are talking to someone that is very knowledgeable on the subject. I am very much a novice so the information communicated with the questions asked is exactly what I am seeking. I grew up with my father reading MEN and now follow in his foot steps

Love the way Charlotte immerses herself into so many different topics! Mother Earth News & Friends is really a great resource for all things homesteading.

I have tried to like this podcast, I really have. And some episodes are good, for instance if there is a guest host or there is a panel from the fair. But Charlotte Brunin makes these basically unlistenable. She's a terrible host, asks dumb questions, is literally always unprepared, and doesn't bother to edit these at all. Sometimes she even announces that this is a topic she knows nothing about, has done no research for other than printing out some irrelevant thing from the internet, then proceeds to waste our and her guests' time for an hour. The fiber animals podcast is a perfect example of this, just extraordinarily inane. Please please PLEASE hire someone who knows ANYTHING about podcasts to run this.

I find this podcast helpful. It provides tools to make a difference. Let’s help the earth. It needs our help.

I absolutely love listening to this podcast while diligently working in my cubicle at the office. I feel like I’m outside but I am actually mentally planning and planting flowers and vegetables in my garden. It makes me excited to see my actual garden at home in a new perspective and try new approaches based on the interviews. Thank you for sharing your collective knowledge 😊

I love me some Mother Earth!!

My two main suggestions for improvement are sound quality and better “interviews.” Sometimes it seems like the interviewer doesn’t really have a plan for the interview, or questions lined up to ask. To me, it’s not at the same level as the magazine. I hope they keep at it and it continues to improve.

As an avid reader of the magazine, attendee of fairs, and regular podcast consumer I was ecstatic when this podcast started. The topics are great but the audio is just terrible. It's seems like everyone is sharing one mic so I have to turn the volume way up to hear the interviewees to just be deafened when the interviewer speaks (heaven forbid my phone ring while listening to this podcast). I'll keep checking as episodes are loaded in hopes that this is resolved. But until then, I'll be skipping these shows.

This is a great show! Very informative. My favorite was the herbal medicine show. I'm binging now. Can't wait to put my 2.5 archers to good use, finally! Thanks for sharing this with us!
