I tried to like this podcast. I listened to several episodes. I found it after one of the hosts was a guest on another podcast. I found him articulate and funny. But once the three Mothboys are together it’s unbearable. I felt like my IQ dropped just listening to them. It’s a shame because I think the topics have potential. I can’t take the juvenile attempt at humor. Bummer.

If you're interested in monster legends and crypids and enjoy a laugh, this is the place. I've listened to all of the episodes while decorating our mothman and cryptid themed airbnb. I even added a chapstick "Easter egg" in the house. Love y'all!

I’ve been having a hard time finding cryptid pods without annoying hosts, and this one does not disappoint! Found them on instagram and just love it from there!

I’ve listened to every episode and I’m convinced there will never be a podcast that can top the Mothboys, they will make your bad days good and filled with laughter, plus their chemistry together is amazing. If you haven’t heard both dragon episodes fix yourself (I’m still convinced Jake “hates” dragons because he doesn’t want anybody to find out he secretly is one). And not only are they phenomenal on the podcast I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mothboy Matt over the weekend and he may be the nicest human being I’ve met in my life.

These guys will make you laugh while teaching you everything you ever wanted to know about cryptids (and Little Debbies!) Recently discovered this podcast at the Cryptid Bash 3 located near my hometown. I love all things cryptid and weird and have been binging the episodes trying to catch up. Would definitely recommend listening to, the mixture of comedy and stories will keep you invested.

A perfect blend of humor and investigative research into the weird and inexplicable. While Jake and Matt bring the wit and stories, it’s Mike who keeps the show moving forward with energy and charm. Outstanding job, Mothboys!

MothBoys is truly exceptional. It takes me back to the times when my friends and I would gather to discuss cryptozoology. The show provides intriguing information, and the humor sprinkled throughout adds an enjoyable touch.

You will love listening to these podcasters. Each subject is well researched with eye witness reports, newspaper articles, and video descriptions (when available). They manage to find the humor in scary subject matter while being respectful to often tragic events. All three voices and their unique personalities shine through. If you love the paranormal, spooky and unexplained, but don’t want to have nightmares after listening this is the podcast for you. Thank you Moth Boys you make my commute to work more enjoyable.

Hey y’all, I binged the whole podcast over about two weeks. I guess it grew on me. My favorites are Dyatlov Pass and the Philadelphia Experiment. I’d love to see more conspiracies - ever consider Plum Island? Matt’s sound effects are hilarious, ignore the haters. When do we get to hear Jake’s ufo story? Keep on keeping’ on. PS Moar dragonz!!

Why bother with a podcast? With all the tangents, irrelevant small talk, lamw Jones and constant laughter, why not just go to Chili’s and have a drink when you have these conversations? Worst podcast I’ve ever come across.

Right from the beginning, i knew you boys were the ones i should tell. Obviously you are great comedians, but your gift lies in your willingness to discover. Like with mister keel and mister derenberger i come to you now with an omen of things to come. Little debbies are the only food that will exist in the soon apocalypse. + Wherever you go, whatever you want, the future is snack cakes alone. Everything for your three meals a day will be replaced. I would stock up on your regular human food items. Raisin and oatmeal cream pies, star crunch, cosmic brownies, and zebra cakes, are all that will remain. Doom awaits those who prefer hostess. (read the capitalized letter at the start of each sentence)

I’ve followed you guys for a while and just now listening to the podcast from the beginning and enjoying every bit of it! I make my boyfriend listen to it every morning, and he enjoys it too! I can’t wait to get caught up! I’m in Spencer, WV, about an hour from Point Pleasant, so hopefully, we’ll get to say hey at the Mothman Festival this year. I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year and just now realized I’ve never left a review. So here goes nothing: these guys are seriously some of the funniest dudes you will ever have blessing your waxy earholes. They’ll teach you all about high strangeness and DA UNKNOOOOOOOWWWNN! From Mothboy Matt’s perfectly rendered sound effects, to Just Jake’s intricate knowledge of pop culture and self deprecating humor, to Mothboys Mike’s………… Anyway, these guys constantly have me in tears of laughter and although I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting them in person, they just seem like very genuine, caring people. Thanks for all the love on instagram, it means a lot to a small time artist like me!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to say that I am very dissapointed in the Mothboys as a new fan who has been listening since last weekend and binged the whole catelogue up to the Mothman recap. They had me on board when I heard about Jake's love of Little Debbie, his hatred of the DMV, and his remorse at his destroyed leggins. Yet, he is scared to say "Men in Black." Why? I am not! The Men in Black have never, ever gotten anyone. I just can't support a cryptid and conspiracy podcast that is this afraid of Will Smith. Anyway, I gotta finish this up there is some banging at my door. Men in Black is just a big movie and a fun time. I am not afraid of saying Men in Black. I think thaslkdhfslkdsdjfsdgldgl;dffsdfrgr';k

After looking for podcasts on my favorite movie of all times, Lost Boys, I stumbled across this one. I’ve listened to almost all of the episodes by now, and have come to the conclusion that this does not have anything to do with Lost Boys, the two Coreys, or anything. But it’s pretty good. I’ve come to feel like I know you all in real life. Like after Jake shared the story about getting a hole in his leggings, I started to tear up, but that’s also because I had just accidentally sat on my sac. If you run out of subjects on moths, could you consider doing an episode on Lost Boys? Did you know it also stars Jami Gertz who later was the lead role in the short lived series “the Neighbors”? The premise follows her and the family when they move into a gated community inhabited entirely by aliens. The reviews were not kind to The Neighbors. I realize I’m getting into a review within a review, but one critic said it was a “potentially comedic show”. I’m going to use a similar phrase and say this podcast could be potentially informative about Lost Boys. P.S. Jami Gertz is married to a billionaire. P.P.S. She appeared in an episode of Seinfeld as a phone sex operator who can’t “spare a square” to Elaine in the restroom.

This is a fun cryptid podcast. Good stories. Decent research. Fun banter. So fun I almost dropped my monocle.

You guys do a great job with presenting stories of the paranormal, without taking it too seriously. It has become a favorite go to podcast for escaping the day-to-day stress.
