Lets talk about breasts!
Every October is defined by these colors: black, orange, browns, and PINK! During breast cancer awareness month we can be sure to find something pink to purchase in support of breast cancer awareness.
This year you can add the fabulous, sassy and unapologetic lingerie line, FEMMESUALIDAD, by Faby.
We partnered earlier this year for an episode on body positivity and now we are at it again to talk about our breasteses.
Not only do we talk about our personal experiences with screening our body, we also talk about our close ones affected.
The cherry on top is our very special guest, Monica Quintana. A resilient mom of 2 who faced this very dark moment in her life with COURAGE, GRACE, and UNWAVERING FAITH.

"As a Black woman, the decision to love yourself just as you are is a radical act. And I'm as RADICAL as they come." - Bethanee Epifani
Author, Speaker, Motivator, and Uber BEAUTIFUL inside and outside. Bethanee graciously joins me for this conversation.
On this episode, we discuss the misrepresentation and lack of representation in the media when it comes to Black Beauty. We also go deep, we address the elephant in the room; colorism on a global scale.
With as much 'progress' as we have had. It is important to address the beauty standards hidden in plain sight. The years of subliminal programming to favor a certain aesthetic or 'preference' in skin tone.
My hope after listening, is that you will continue the conversation. That you will take the lead in celebrating Beauty in every skin tone.
Wholeheartedly,
MARI

Being a Latina owned brand that promotes body positivity, we DO NOT discriminate against any body type. We want to provide a safe space where women can be confident being Sexy! We promote Women Empowerment and embrace your curves. Lingerie is classy. Its Feminine. Its SEXY. Its you.
Remember, one Woman's beauty does not take away from yours. You are your own kind of BEautiful along with the body you have been blessed with.'

This episode is dedicated to the movement; BLACK LIVES MATTER. Although this is not a new problem in our world, my intent is for this conversation to spark many more conversations and motivate the actions needed to bring about REAL CHANGE.
George Perry Floyd Jr. (October 14, 1973 – May 25, 2020) was an African-American man who was killed by police during an arrest in Minneapolis on May 25, 2020. Protests in response to both Floyd's death, and more broadly to police violence against other African-Americans, quickly spread across the United States and internationally.
Floyd grew up in Houston, Texas. He excelled in football and played other sports throughout high school and college. At 6 ft 4 in his friends and family called him Perry, and characterized him as a "gentle giant". (Source: Wikipedia)
In this episode I sit down with Ferin Kidd; a powerful voice with a GREAT message! He is the CEO of, The Black OC, an up and coming non-profit creative movement utilizing the power of hip-hop to establish UNITY and promote a higher standard for urban culture.
Listen up to find out more about the movement and how quickly Ferin made up his mind to TAKE ACTION and get the support to go to the scene where George Floyd was murdered. Not only that, he also created a grass roots fund to be able to document and time stamp some of the protests in Minneapolis.

In this episode, Dr. Stephanny, shares some valuable gems on her favorite topic; Self-Awareness.
Dr. Stephanny has her doctorate degree in clinical psychology and 4 years of experience doing clinical work in a psychiatric hospital. She is a life coach, working with women who are ready to learn about themselves, and live life on their own terms.

Self-awareness is the foundation to our transformation. It is not glamorous, yet necessary. The beautiful part is; you don't have to take the journey alone like we did. This episode will hopefully inspire you to explore where you are now and kick start your journey to your next best self!
Wholeheartedly,
Mari
