One of the biggest questions in theology: Who is the Holy Spirit? As we continue in our spiritual gifts series we have to spend time on the person of the trinity who is responsible for giving out the spiritual gifts. Throughout the history of the church he has gone from embraced to explored to avoided but is consistently misunderstood and sits in the realm of mystery.  He convicts us of sin. He advocates for us. He testifies to the Son. He comforts us. As believers he dwells inside of us. He is his own person that works in one esense with The Father and The Son. 

Today we are taking on one of the most misused verses in scripture and one that has chained many of us over the years. Are we called to truly abstain from the appearance of all evil? Or are we called to abstain from every form/kind of evil?
