eh...
it seems like they've quit updating, which i guess is just as well as they seemed to complain about the episodes and characters (we get it, joel's a jerk from new york. everyone knows that-- it's the ENTIRE PREMISE OF THE SHOW) more than appreciate them. and to complain about the music cues in a show so well known and loved for it's thoughtful, character driven music cues is kinda crazy.
i would love to listen to a northern exposure podcast, but maybe by people who've seen the show before (and seem to, you know, love it) and can lend some insight into the stories, the characters, their relationships, and the production itself (the directors, the writers (many of whom went on to other great shows like the sopranos) and the creators themselves-- joshua brand and john falsey). who knows, maybe these guys will get it together and give it another go. but based on the three episodes here, maybe they should leave not quite good enough alone.
it was a nice touch having music from the show in the background.

A Good Start
I just listened to the first two episodes of MooseCast today. It is a new podcast, so there are some problems with the engineering of the show sound and editing wise, but those issues aside, I enjoyed what I heard. I am a die-hard NOEX fan, so I'm always interested in hearing other people's opinions about the show. Personally, I would do less recap and more discussing the various elements of the show, such as the acting, plot points, and the many inconsistencies that are pretty funny. I think, in time, MooseCast will become a great podcast.
