She was a mother of two, daughter, sister, and friend. The walk home from her sister’s house should’ve taken her 10 minutes. 10 years later, and she still hasn’t arrived.

Julia, Alea, and Isabela examine the unsolved murders of two best friends, Danielle Greene and Lindsey Maccabee, who vanished from Columbus, Ohio, in October 2016. Found weeks apart in open fields with no clues, no footprints, and no cause of death, their cases remain cold, while those closest to them continue seeking justice.

A late-night party turned deadly when Melinda Newcomb, David Marker, and David Smelser went to a house party at a secluded cabin off Consolidated Road. A pair of blue jeans, a high school varsity jacket, and an unopened pack of Supradent gum. This was part of the few things police found in the woods, belonging to 19 year old Kimberly King in Dayton Ohio. There are no photos of her living, not yearbook pictures or those taken by friends and family to remember her kindly. Only a few gruesome crime scene photos and pictures of the evidence, as taken by the police after her horrifying murder.

60-year-old Lori Lynn was a kindhearted mother and grandmother from Youngstown, Ohio. She worked in heavy machinery and was known as a headstrong, yet kind woman. On August 1st, 2017, Lori went to pick up her mother from their family farm. The security camera footage of Lori's car approaching the home is the last time she was ever seen. Lori was found dead the following morning on her family's tractor, submerged in a pond, and remains unsolved.

Robin was a 17-year-old girl living in Cambridge, Ohio. She was 7 months pregnant, heading into her senior year of high school. She was dating Lee Savage at the time, who was the father of her unborn baby. Robin went missing on August 27th, 1991, and her skeletal remains were found on December 28th, 1991. No one was convicted, and the only two persons of interest were Lee and Jack Savage. This is the episode of Robin Stone.

In 2003, 14-year-old Cassie Cole disappeared from her hometown of Tiffin, Ohio. After four months of agonizing uncertainty, her body was discovered, yet the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear to this day. In July 2007, a 14-year-old Ashley Summers was seen for the last time. From a big family in a small house, she was last seen at a party at her great-uncle’s house when she left to go to her aunt’s house. It was on this trip that she disappeared without a trace. It’s been 18 years since, and no one knows where Ashley went. Theories, audio recordings, and news reports will be discussed as we walk you through this active case.

On a side road in the small rural town of Troy, Ohio, the body of a young woman was found face down in a ditch. Her body was positioned in a manner that appeared to be staged by the perpetrator. She was placed in that ditch with her arms laid straight out and her bare feet crossed almost as if she was on a cross. Was this a symbol left by the killer? Was this a ritual or was it a way to ask for forgiveness? The unfortunate hurdle the police had to jump was who was this beautiful young woman and why would anyone want to kill her? The question of who she was was not answered for nearly 35 years after her death. She was known for all this time as the "Buckskin Girl", because of the buckskin jacket she was found wearing at the time. With the determination and hard work of a Detective who could not let it go and a large team of scientists she was finally identified as Marcia King. She was a young woman trying to find her way in life. She was a drifter who suffered from mental illness. Marcia left home from Arkansas and was last seen alive in Louisville, Ky. She was known to hitchhike and it appeared as if she may have been trying to get to a local religious group when she took a ride with the wrong person. She was badly beaten and strangled and left on the side of the road to die. Detective Hickey just had to keep going and he believes Marcia's Final Chapter will end with a conviction very soon. On a side note, this is also my Final Chapter of both my teaching career and this podcast. I will be retiring soon and I just want to say thank you to everyone that has helped us along the way.
