Always good to hear from the Olympic project

Torture! Elder hosts are poor listeners who can’t guide conversations with guests. They dwell on minor points +repeat questions + Tom talks over them + dominates with his opinions.

There is a fine line between skeptic and bitter old man. Based only on this latest episode I can truly see why no one would want to reveal their experience to a snarky, name dropping, condescending Facebook troll like Stephen.

Great job with your open talk discussions, field research, encounter stories and interviews with Sasquatch/Bigfoot folks from people who have been doing this for a long time. Also , Julie & Tom do a good job of highly possible activity (e.g. vocals in range of 20HZ, bi-pedal footsteps, hundred pound trees being pushed over etc.). Good job guys, keep it up!

It would be one of the great podcasts if could actually hear what the guest was saying. Unfortunately the audio is garbage on most episodes.

While I adore sasquatch, I truly, truly like shows about sea monsters and lake monsters! Something different is good!

Julie and Tom were the main reason for me in taking the time to fill this review out. Their episodes of Standing on the Shoulders of Giants were all “instant Classics”. Tom’s in-depth knowledge of everything Bigfoot, and Julie’ relaxed demeanor and professional interview couples for episodes worth listening to again and again. If it wasn’t for the horrible sound quality of the production, I would’ve given then 5-stars...

I stopped listening for about a year and recently decided to try again. I was totally bummed you hear there same awful sounds quality that I was hoping would have been dealt with. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to move on for good...

You have some serious audio problems. Can’t bare to listen.

I used to listen to this show every week and then disappeared as episodes became sporadic. The “programming” schedule of diverse shows was a good idea in theory, but in practice, the quality really diminished and I bailed. The membership plan seemed sketchy, as there’s no public accountability for the potential of withheld “content,” and I wish it would’ve been through something like Patreon. I’ve met Shane and he’s nice. I’ve seen the show in person at a pizza place event in Oregon. But I really wish their investments went towards what made them popular, the podcast. Getting quality mics, quitting BlogTalk for their awful call-in quality, and bringing better production value should’ve been priority number one, instead of Monster X TV and all these other shows. Again, I dig the ideas, but the execution leaves more to be desired. I hope to return someday and hear something worthwhile.

I just listened to the show from 4 Aug 2019, absolutely no content period. All I heard was “we could do this or that only if we had funding”. That was followed up by Mr Coffee making the same statements he makes on every show like “ there are no sasquatch experts” (which I agree with). I am done with this show and others like it. They are just wanting folks to give them money so they can buy new equipment and pretend to do actually scientific research out in the field. Something which most of them do not do well because I have been in the field with some of them over the years. It was nice when Monster X was a show not struggling to be a brand. Shane needs to come back and the rest of the hosts need to go back into their previous hobbies. I truly hope these reviews are read and taken into consideration. I am done with this podcast and ones like it if the only focus is promoting “the brand”.

Why have guests on? Just keep talking over the guest and not even let their opinions out. Horrible sound quality.

Seriously work on normalizing and balancing your audio. Frequently this podcast has issues where you cannot hear one person and another person is blaringly loud. Also agree with others that the older episodes used to be MUCH better than they are today.

OMG it’s gotten so bad. The content used to be good, but now it’s just awful. The “host” Julie needs to get her old job back at the 7-11 and leave hosting to someone with a 3rd grade vocabulary. I have tried to hang on because I was really interested in Shane and the Olympic Project, but that hasn’t been discussed in months. Now it’s just one hayseed after another discussing their Misadventures in the Woods.

Says “Monster” X but it’s only about Bigfoot and a tiny bit about “champ”.. not to mention audio and ignorance problems.. best used as toilet paper 🧻..

I found this show after listening to Sasquatch Syndicate, both are now added to favs and if your into crypto these are a great curveball - I also listen to a few others but appreciate the insight and updates on this show - going to try he coffee someday. Until then cheers and beers - thanks all

How bout not drinking 13 jumbo cans of red bull before you go on the air Shane. Try to actually enunciate the word Olympic. Don’t get me wrong, love me some Gunnar and Shane but get some new mics in the studio and maybe invite someone who has had an encounter to tell about.

Horrible podcast. Sounds like they are talking in tin cans. Pops and clicks. Very distracting. Host has no clue of what he is talking about and very poor interviewing technique.

This is one of the best shows because it always considers Bigfoot last. They listen to their guests let them talk because the guest is what makes the show. A great lesson I look forward to it every week

This is a good show and it's already better than a lot of podcasts out there. The new intro music is much better and more professional. I really like Metallica but the new intro sets the mood for this style show. Also Bigfoot is one of my favorite topics but I wouldn't hate it to hear about more creatures and I like the way your name gives you that freedom to talk about more subjects. Keep it up and thanks!

I've tried so many times to get beyond the low audio quality and lack of production to enjoy the content on this podcast. I give up. My 9 year old can literally create a better recording with similar challenges in GarageBand. Get your tech together guys!

This show had promise, but after listening to a few episodes I couldn't stomach the poor audio quality and the awkwardness of all the hosts talking over each other. I found it to be distracting and not worth the time. that aren't very many podcasts on this subject that I enjoy due to their poor production and this is one of them!

The absolute WORST audio quality I've ever heard in a podcast. Podcasting over CB radio would sound better than this. Completely un-listenable. Sounds like mush.

Keep the message unbiased and factual. I appreciate the contributions from both hosts.

I enjoy all the stories and legends of the Pacific Northwest. I would love to visit out there sometime. Living in southern Ohio, we have our fair share of strange as well. Cool show though, keep it up!

So far, I've listened to 2 or 3 podcasts and am happy with the content, length and the way the hosts guide the subjects.
