Embrace The Growth Journey
Welcome back to MOMpreneur Success Podcast Today we are joined by Kelsey Smith. After the complicated delivery of her first son, Kelsey had the realization that while she had accomplished many "goals", they weren't goals that brought her fulfillment. As she woke up from surgery she wondered if she hadn't woken up, what story would she leave behind? Would her children know what brought her joy? What she stood for? This experience led Kelsey on her own journey of fulfillment and self-discovery where she had the massive realization that this feeling was far too common for mothers all over the world. Kelsey knew she needed to normalize moms having big dreams + making their own fulfillment a priority, so she created a space that helped women and mothers do just that. Through her community, the Mommas Has Goals phone app, events, and programs Kelsey lead women to the life of their dreams for themselves and their families with the mission to help all current and aspiring mommas find their highest selves in and outside of motherhood.   Listen further as Kelsey shares the importance of knowing your strengths and weaknesses in order to move forward. She also points out that building a network is necessary for success and a lot more. So with no further ado here is Kelsey Smith!   [00:00 - 06:37] 3 Success Tips for Mother Entrepreneurs Kelsey Smith is the owner and founder of Momma Has Goals  Kelsey is a Mom of Two, Vineyard Owner, and Always More! Taking time to get to know yourself is important for success as an entrepreneur. Building your network is also important for success. Embracing your growth journey is key to success.   [06:38 - 12:22] How to get to know yourself It's more important to focus on your strengths and weaknesses as a business owner than to worry about what others might think of you. Building a network can help you expand your reach and increase your chances of success. Think of your circle as a Venn diagram, with different circles representing different people. Get curious about the people in your circle and connect with them. The best move that Kelsey made in her entrepreneurial journey was asking people for advice"   [12:22 - 18:02] Tips for networking and growing your business Embrace the growth journey and be okay with not knowing the end destination Kelsey's advice is don't be afraid to try new communities   [18:03 - 19:05] Closing words.   Connect with Kelsey: links below!
