Taqwa Hasan has always had a love and a passion for The Arts/Fashion Design. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising from Wayne State University in 2006. Her unique and eclectic style to design was inspired by her very diverse upbringing while attending a local Muslim school in Detroit Michigan called Al-Ikhlas Training Academy. Her school inspired her to see up close and personal the beauty of other cultures including their cultural prints, fabrics, and aesthetics. All of these factors helped to shape and inspire her to become the CEO of her brand, The Black Box Collection. The company was birthed in 2019 as a way to sell a beautifully handcrafted jewelry and accessories line for the chic and eclectic woman. Taqwa loves to mix different fabrics, styles, fibers, and materials all inspired by the many different cultures to design truly one-of-a-kind pieces. Her pieces are for the woman who loves to be unique, chic, and makes a statement. When Taqwa isn't designing you can find her spending time with her family, out in nature, or attending and planning community events. To view this Podcast on YouTube: https://youtu.be/sycrGDxzF4Qhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx7Ptab1YPQTOG3osLfZKyw
