Kellie is exceptional. Truly a professional. I had such a good time coming on this podcast. She was organized and well researched and so easy to talk to. It was like we were talking over cocktails and diving into leadership and life. Kellie is genuinely positive and is so motivating. Listening to her makes you want to strive to do more and be your best self. She also brings people on the podcast that will make you better! Time is a commodity and how you spend it matters. You will be happy you spent time with Kellie and will be better for it!

Kellie is a true professional and is so passionate about what she does in the navy and outside of the navy. Her passion and professionalism is so apparent when she’s asking thought provoking questions on her podcast. The podcast is such an easy listen, and is so educational for people that are trying to get better each day with self improvement, time management, and mastering all of your passions. I was one of her guests for season 5 and I admire the fact that she uses her following and her platform in order to spread authentic messages throughout the fleet and corporate world. I loved being a guest on Kellie’s podcast because of her natural ability to inspire and connect with ambitious women. When Kellie asked me to be a guest on her Miss Understood podcast, I was extremely flattered and also a little nervous as this was my first official podcast interview! Kellie quickly calmed those nerves through her authentic and inviting communication and energy to set the tone for the interview. Being in the military as well, it’s so refreshing & inspiring that she shares her authentic self especially with being a female in our society, a leader in the military, it’s hard like she says. But she overcomes it and sets an example to be your biggest fan and be confident while pursuing the best version of yourself!

Lovely podcast

As a fellow service member/female/officer, her entire premise of “do both” is extremely unrealistic. Her job in the navy has yet to deploy her and her “duty stations” are not naval bases, they’re cities that allow her to expand her “brand”. Her message is very misleading and I hope young, impressionable women who are interested in military service and becoming an officer do not look to her as a role model. She represents the 0.1% of officers whose job doesn’t take them away for months on end, requires lots of studying and prep outside of work, and who sacrifice more of their own free time in order to better themselves in their careers. This is a glamorized, inconsistent, and unrealistic view of life as a military officer.

What a great podcast! I’ve listened to a few episodes and really enjoyed #102 on Improving Communication in the workplace. It’s so nice seeing Kellie live authentically as herself, a role model for female service members, and one I wish I’d had as a young female service member - very refreshing! Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t listen to the haters. 🩷🇺🇸

I honestly do not even remember how long I have been following Kellie through social media. I mean wow, she lived in Ohio! So it has been a while…& now I get to follow this podcast! I find it refreshing how much the podcast has evolved and the message Kellie continues to share. It does not only serve members of the military, but other contemporaries. We continue to witness it as she brings on board her friends, and other professionals to pour into the “Missunderstood” cup! As someone that is trying to #doBoth, I absolutely LOVED the episode with Summer Wilson. If you are wanting take a leap of faith to be your own boss, this is a great episode to listen to. Summer keeps it real! And Kellie shares her experience as a business owner, too! 5-stars! 🤩

As a junior sailor, it’s refreshing to see someone be so open about who they are in and out of uniform. We need more leaders like Kellie!!

When Kell asked me to be a guest on her podcast, I was truly honored. Kell puts so much work into making her podcast amazing for her listeners and really thinks through what they may want to learn more about or need advice on. So naturally, after I got past the “OMG! She asked me to be on her podcast!” stage, I thought “Well dang, what am I going to talk about?” We landed on navigating adult friendships. I had a truly fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized, and I had a blast being a part of it! If you’d like to listen to a podcast on someone who is self absorbed and conceited than here you go. All she does is talk about herself (she is not relevant) and is so obsessed with herself it’s pathetic. You would think this girl is a celebrity the way she talks about herself.

Kellie’s podcasts are insightful and entertaining! I really love the episodes with her fiancé, Austin. They are absolutely great together!

Kellie hits all the right topics when it comes to female empowerment and gives me the motivation to not only be a better for my Marines but most importantly be better for myself!

I have actually used the bumble friend advice in practice - it’s been so helpful!

This is an unrealistic and misleading view of what it is like to be an officer in the military. This girl is a HR officer (a restricted line position) which means she has nothing but time for outside hobbies and paints a very wrong view of what it takes to be a successful officer. She is telling young girls that they can do it all in the military but when you get in and are deployed on a ship for 9-11 months (she’s only done about two weeks on a ship- don’t let her photos fool you) you will quickly find that this is a fully time job and like any important job requires your full attention. If you want to be in the military and be successful, do not listen to this. She is not a role model for any naval officer and anyone that went to school with her or was in a command with her will tell you the same.

This is my favorite, binge-worthy podcast. The guidance LT Hall provides in each episode has been huge in helping me navigate the path that I’m on. Her podcast is very inspiration and informative, I recommend it to all my friends that #DoBoth

Kellie, the host’s voice, is so annoying and squeaky. She and her guests co-hosts are equally as annoying, unfunny, and Kellie just likes to hear herself talk and talk about herself. I feel bad for Austin having to put up with her ego.

Really a very inspiring podcast. I’m enlisted in the Army reserves but currently in the ROTC Program. The military is not an easy job especially when you have things to handle too outside the military. Exactly the guidance that I needed especially when it came to time management lol! Thank you, Maam!
