We had a chance to catch up with Dave from Freaktography. His unique approach to urban exploration is simultaneously aligned with what we do at Delta Bravo while staying true to a stricter definition of URBEX. While Dave recently went on a pilgrimage to Brooklyn and Manhattan; paying tribute to pop-culture and music history, he also seeks out isolated, often abandoned locations. He has found old funeral homes, empty houses, and some rusty, rotting industrial sites. As a result, he has a beautiful archive of high-quality photographs. It was great to hear about his approach to research and exploration; and it was gratifying to compare notes on some of our favorite locations.
