Lacking what a true crime podcast needs to grab attention
I was at first excited to see a podcast that was dedicated to cases isolated to Colorado. Content is basic research of, the Watts case didn’t share anything new that wasn’t shared on Sword and Scale, true crime garage, or crime junkie. It’s poorly done and listening to these two talk is uninteresting, painful and lacking professionalism. I hope this review helps them reevaluate the content that is being delivered, they have potential but it needs serious work.

Excellent podcast! Finally, someone got the Watts case right. So many podcasts with misinformation are out there about this case. I really appreciate the detail, because that matters. Full disclosure: I don’t know the hosts. This is a completely unbiased review.

Unsettling Word Pronunciation
I have listened to one episode, and it was actually quite enjoyable. However, the only way I can possibly remain a future listener is if Bri promises to never again pronounce the word “especially” as = ECK-Specially. During the Shanann Watts episode, she used this word so many times that it distracted me from hearing the story, and I had to rewind multiple times to stay on track. I get that it’s often just a colloquialism, but in this case it steals the speaker’s maturity and makes the podcast feel quite elementary. Otherwise, it’s a decent criminal summarization.

New to podcasting
As an avid podcast listener, I can tell immediately that the host is new to the scene. I can also tell that her episodes get better each time she releases a new one. It can’t be easy to do everything by yourself either. She’s doing research, recording, editing and advertising this podcast all on her own. Her dedication to these cases is evident, and it’s clear she is a compassionate person. Keep up the amazing work! Also: one of the missing persons she covered, was recently recovered. She’s making a difference with every episode.

If you like drums and monotone
I have listened to two of these and won't be listening to anymore. Horrible music, pounding drums for a background, uneven loudness, and a deadly monotone by the narrator. The 5 star votes must have been her friends and family.
