I really enjoy this podcast! I have been rewatching TRG because I miss the show so much. Then I come and listen to this recap podcast. I like the host’s POV and their banter and they cover everything I think they need to in each episode. The hosts are laid back and almost gentle but the pacing is nice and keeps moving. I don’t always agree but that’s how it is sometimes. It’s like listening to friends talk about TV and it’s fun. Well done!

Idk why but they release last week’s episode pod when the new one airs. The pod should be released within 3-4 days of the latest episode if they want to stay relevant. Also agree with what some others have said in these reviews - the hosts simply don’t understand McBrides humor. You can tell they haven’t watched East Bound & Down and Vice Principals

If the show isn’t interesting enough to keep him from yawning in the middle of it…. While they are recording. How am I supposed to stay awake?

It doesn’t really seem like the two host understand McBride‘s humor. I’ve only listened to two episodes of the most recent season and was disappointed. Some of the funniest scenes in the show they complain about and say that it takes away from other storylines.

Dont watch the show but i support DashingDrewRude in all his ventures so 5 stars and thumbs up from Pain (i will occasionally listen though like currently as I write this)

Great job with the first season! I stumbled across the shattered shield pod about a year ago when I started watching the shield again for the first time since it ended many, many years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed the analysis and commentary from Drew and Panda, and when Libby came aboard, I felt like having her perspective made it even better. When I saw Drew and Libby (did they put Panda in a cage?) teamed up again, I figured it was worth listening to the first episode of Misbehavin, and after listening, I was 100% right, I immediately signed up for HBO Max and starting binging, and checking out the Gemstones I have been aware of the righteous Gemstones for a while now, and I knew that it starred Danny McBride, John Goodman and Walton Goggins, who are all incredible in everything they do, but I had never got around to actually watching it. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Skyler Gisondo on the show, he was great on Curb your enthusiasm, and on Santa Clarita Diet (a show I enjoyed way more than I thought I would, all of the Deadwood and Justified actors who made an appearance certainly helped) I think Drew and Libby both did/do a great job doing their own thing, but they are even better working together, they “click” and play off each other very well. I feel the podcast is very polished, and is far more enjoyable and better produced than some other pods I listen to that are “bigger” I hope you continue with the Gemstones, and I hope that maybe Justified or Deadwood could be your next project. I don’t think Deadwood has ever gotten a proper podcast, I started listening to a couple, but they just aren’t as well done as yours. With Libby’s love of Goggins, Justified is a natural next step. I’m looking forward to season 2, and I hope you guys can do some interviews with the cast, that REALLY set the shattered shield apart from the average “TV show” podcast. Wow, this is way longer than I planned it to be, and is the first time I have bothered commenting on a pod cast, so please consider this as a compliment.

These two podcasting all stars somehow found a more sinister show than The Shield! Can’t wait to find out which character Libby has an unabashed love for that makes you scratch your head, but respect the pick all the same. Any Panda cameos in the future? 🔮
