A quick look at Mark 10:13-16. Jesus says that to enter into the kingdom of God we must be like children. I must not rely on myself for salvation, but come to God as a child in need of help.

A quick look at Mark 9:20-24. Jesus says that all things are possible for the one who believes. I must believe and trust that God is in control.

A quick look at Jonah 4:1-4. Jonah is angry with God's grace. I must seek even the salvation of my enemies and hope that God will save them.

A quick look at Jonah 3:6-10. Nineveh repents and the Lord saves them from disaster. The Lord always is willing to forgive, I must turn to him in everything.
