Love the local
Love the quick local news. I don’t love the sign off—“stay safe” implies that we’re all in some sort of grave danger or something. We’re not. Go for something else.
this nickname is pointless
Make sure and fact check, since MPR doesn’t.
For years they have provided a very clearly biased news but it used to at least be worth it to get basic topics. Now, they have gone full biased and hide important news topics for Minnesota and it’s a huge bummer. What a great resource going to waste. After them completely ignoring what’s going on in Minnesota for the last week, I’m saying goodbye after half a decade.

Inconsistent publishing times
I really appreciate this podcast and the local news it offers. I wish that it was published consistently in the morning so that I could listen to it. It often isn’t available when I want it. When it’s there, the reporting is great.

Missing MNUFC updates
If the other professional sports teams are being reported on…why leave out MNUFC?
Just had another W this weekend against STL.
The truck mom
“Sure” “ya”
The young reporters start every answer to a question with “Sure” and “Ya”. Very annoying and distracting. They all need to work on this to sound professional.

Needs lots of work
Repeats far too many stories. This is not the radio; we subscribe and listen to every episode. Weather is a waste of time, too, since it tries to cover the entire state, making it generic to the point of useless. Sports are also not useful news; leave that kind of garbage to the people who also “report” lottery numbers and horoscopes.
Update: Now they’re including episodes of another podcast in this feed, meaning you either are getting even *more* repeats if you like that podcast, too, or unwanted stories here if you don’t. MPR needs to hire someone who understands what podcasts are, and I’m very close to unsubscribing completely.
Last Update: Finally unsubscribed after they wasted my time with a “viral prom-posal” story. I’m looking for news, not increasingly encroaching vapid social media content.

Mn today
I love these, but in the last couple weeks, I frequently am not noble to download them. They say episode unavailable eg I can’t listen to today or my yesterday’s afternoon episode. I am able to download npr podcast, so seems to be a mn today issue.

Politically slanted
Walz promoting podcast. Slanted coverage. It usually gets the weather right.

Expat Minnesotan Keeping up on the news
I am Glad that MPR puts out this podcast so I can keep up on events in Minnesota, even though I live in Singapore. Just turning on the radio isn’t an option for me! I hope this podcast will continue regularly even after COVID-19 is a thing of the past.

Helps me focus on what matters
I’ve been overwhelmed by all of the pandemic news available. Thank you for giving me the info I want, and nothing more.

Why would you state the Virus isn’t as bad as it looks on TV!
Horrible reporting. Shame on you.
