Professor full of empty air
Study strategies lecture Professor typified the empty chatter of US colleges. The tragedy is students in the USA pay a ransom to be a captive audience to them—and the professor gets a pay check. I remember from the first day till decades later when we sat in the beginning of a University lecture was like a train starting — stop the conversation and jump on. There are too many great books to read rather than listening to this. The internet revolution allows us to filter much and see how much busy chatter is in US academics. And his book won’t be on my list

Yay for New Season!
Great first episode back. The awareness being made surrounding assessments is crucial and something that must always be scrutinized and re-evaluated.

Every episode is gold
This podcast adds so much to my life, I don’t know how I survived before it. Short yet tells a complete story that is well researched and captivating. As a parent this expands my view so wildly and for that I am appreciative.

Let kids to be kids!
I have seen how much pressure kids are experiencing with over scheduling and high expectation from their parents. To revamp the culture and let kids to be kids again takes an entire district to realize the significance that mental wellness is not a slogan but acceptance to true humanity.

Not a Teacher
I’m not an educator, but find this podcast to be very interesting. The topics are engaging and the production quality makes it easy to listen and enjoy.

Love!
This is the absolute best podcast for teachers! I listen to this on my way to school and I bound out of the car reinvigorated to build teamwork, connect with parents, and think outside the box with my heartstrings pulled for the anxiety, violence, and screen addiction many of my students are fighting silently everyday.

The Podcast I Needed
It's like embedded meets education, but a focus on education. As a teacher, it's the podcast I have been wanting. It approaches education in depth and in a way that looks at the system with respect and clarity. Thank you.

Surprisingly Good!
I found this podcast through Twitter and followed them here. Their tweets are RT-able and for good reason. It's what's intrigued me to listen and be hooked in and share. Give it a listen, and join them as we look to be better at teaching and show young’ns to love learning.

Such great and honest insight
I cherish this podcast for how it draws back the curtain of the classroom. The stories and testimonials reveal the triumphs, disasters and general trials that comprise the life of an educator. As an education researcher I am constantly searching for more organic and honest insight into my work. This podcast provides so many fertile ideas combined with great storytelling. Keep up the strong work!

This podcast is AMAZING
As a former teacher and a parent, I have found each and every episode of this podcast moving and relevant. So much so, that I just shared it with all of my colleagues in my education department. Thank you for elevating the voice of the people with the hardest and one of the most important jobs in the world!!!

An authentic peek
I love this. As an educator for over a decade, it feels very important and redeeming to listen to a podcast that is willing take a deeper look into the impact of education and of educators, on our culture. Intellectual, yet incredibly tangible. Entertaining and serious. I both laughed, and was challenged to think deeply about issues that I encounter daily. Great job.

YES. This!
I started listening to these stories and was hooked right away. Ki & Katrina have done a really beautiful job of showing the complexity of being a teacher - funny, thoughtful, real! Thank you. This is so needed. (And go women podcasters!!)

Uplifting stories
This podcast is a reminder of the many good teachers there are. Plus it provides funny stories and an overall insightful view of life in the world of educators. If you need a laugh or a heartwarming story this podcast is for you.
Fantastic fanatic true
A real education
Too often the conversation about education gets mired in abstraction. Hearing stories straight from the people trying to hold the line on real learning reminds us that people matter more than process.

Teachers hear the darnedest things
I'm constantly thinking back to my school days and reevaluating what that experience was like. It's nice to hear the other side - what teachers thought. Some fun moments too like boys asking if certain smells go away and then come back. The puberty lady episode is good as is the puberty questions one.

Refreshing voices
Stories Teachers Share is a breath of fresh air in a stagnant education debate that seems to continually circle around the same tired themes. It was fascinating to learn about the large and small dramas that play out in classrooms daily from the people who spend so much time with out children. Bravo!

Stories Teachers Share: Boys and Puberty
As both a former teacher, and a formerly awkward pubescent boy, this story was a delight. “We all yelled penis as loud as we could,”—that’s not something I recall from any class when I was a kid. What a great model for demystifying puberty and sex for young boys and their fathers. Thanks for bringing Dr. Rob’s story to a broad audience.
