Hey there! Have you ever found yourself constantly trying to please others, even if it means sacrificing your own needs and desires? In this episode I talk about how I used to be the same. I wanted to be accepted and validated by everyone, and the thought of being judged or rejected was terrifying. But I realized that constantly seeking approval from others was holding me back from living my best life. So, I took actionable steps to stop people pleasing and prioritize my own goals and vision for my life. Here are a few things that worked for me: Practice saying "no" without feeling guilty: Saying "no" to others doesn't make you a bad person. It simply means that you value your time and energy, and you have other priorities that need your attention. Identify your values and goals: It's important to know what you stand for and what you want to achieve in life. This will help you make decisions that align with your values and goals, rather than just trying to please others. Surround yourself with supportive people: Having a strong support system can make all the difference. Surround yourself with people who respect and encourage you to be your authentic self. Practice self-care: Taking care of yourself is crucial. Make time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation, and don't feel guilty for prioritizing your own well-being. Remember, it's okay if not everyone approves of your choices. What's most important is that you live authentically and in alignment with your values and goals. 22 things I learned in 2022 There is no future or past, only the present. I am solely responsible for my life. Any action is better than no action. Disconnecting my worth from achievements or other people's opinion of me. Healing and self-development will affect every area of your life. Power of coaching. Meditation along with its countless benefits really affects intuition.  Life is because of me.  There is absolutely nothing a person cannot do. Our potential is limitless. Routines do not have to be draining, you can adapt them to fit your energy level and lifestyle. The only person holding you back is yourself.  Adults are just kids that have to act like adults. Need to reconnect with nature regularly. Surround yourself with people who inspire and motivate you. Be protective of your energy.  Make habits easier for yourself.  Investing in yourself is the best investment.  You can do it on your own. Take life easier. Learn to laugh at yourself. Grown ups make mistakes too, and it's okay. It's okay to change your mind. Life is everything. Experiencing sadness, anger, relief, joy - all a part of the journey of being human, all equally beautiful.  Happiness is a skill. Money doesn't equal happiness. Luxury items don't equal happiness.
