Before that he wandered into a strangers basement and had his first experience in the then gritty and underground world of mixed martial arts with four brothers of the sword at Hybrid Faction Combat Club. A group of five men with no formal training that would rise through the regional and national combat fighting circuit with nothing more than determination, resourcefulness and mid-western grit. Jesse completes the story of the Hybrid Faction Combat Club and gives his perspective and lessons from the often misunderstood sport of MMA during its early development.
